    The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran once again warned the countries along the southern shores of the Persian Gulf against "any assistance" to the U.S. military.

    In a message published on Wednesday, August 28, attributed to Ali Abdollahi in Iranian media, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran stated that "nothing remains hidden from our eyes" and added, "the presence of this number of military aircraft, especially refueling aircraft, at regional bases without the knowledge of the host countries seems unlikely."

    The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters did not provide further details in his warning. Last night, the United Arab Emirates announced that it has suspended all financial and commercial transactions with Iran until further notice.
