Fars News Agency claimed to have obtained details about the U.S. response to Iran's proposals during negotiations; a report that discusses five main conditions set by Washington for an agreement with Tehran.

According to Fars' sources, the conditions announced by the U.S. include the following:

    1. No payment of any compensation or damages by the U.S.
    2. The transfer of 400 kilograms of uranium from Iran to the U.S.
    3. The operation of only one set of Iran's nuclear facilities.
    4. No payment of even 25% of Iran's frozen assets.
    5. The cessation of war in all theaters being contingent upon negotiations.

According to Fars, in return, Iran has conditioned any negotiations on the fulfillment of five trust-building preconditions: "Ending the war in all fronts, especially Lebanon," "Lifting anti-Iran sanctions," "Freeing Iran's frozen funds," "Compensating for war damages," and "Recognizing Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz."

The Abu Dhabi Media Office reported on social media on Sunday, May 16, about a fire at the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates.

This fire started following a drone attack on the Barakah nuclear power plant in the Al Dhafra region, but it did not result in any casualties or injuries.

According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office's explanation, the fire broke out in an electricity generator outside the perimeter of the plant and did not negatively impact the site's safety.

Following the start of a joint attack by the U.S. and Israel on Iranian territory, the United Arab Emirates has become the largest target of retaliatory attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Fars News Agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported on Sunday, May 17, that Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a former member of the IRGC, has been appointed as Iran's special representative for China.

This security news agency provided no further explanation, simply stating: "Previously, Ali Larijani and Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli held such responsibilities."

🔸The report does not clarify who or which entity appointed Qalibaf to this position, nor does it explain the current significance that the government perceives in needing this special representative.

The announcement of Qalibaf's appointment as special representative for China comes two days after the official visit of the U.S. President to China, during which one of the discussion topics was Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. The White House announced on Thursday, May 14, that Donald Trump, the U.S. President, and Xi Jinping, the President of China, discussed and agreed on expanding economic cooperation, keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, and preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The court session for Sadegh Saeedi-Nia, the manager of the Saeedi-Nia chain of cafes, who was arrested during the nationwide protests last December along with his father, Mohammad Ali Saeedi-Nia, was held at the Revolutionary Court in Qom.

The Saeedi-Nia cafes were among the businesses that closed their shops during the protests last December, which began with market protests against economic mismanagement.

The representative of the Qom prosecutor accused Mr. Saeedi-Nia of "propaganda or media activities against the security of the country," "operational actions for anti-regime groups through posting stories, virtual activities, participating in illegal gatherings, closing his cafes and shops nationwide, and encouraging some of his employees to commit crimes against national security."

According to the prosecutor's representative and the judge, the charges are based on information extracted from the electronic devices seized from Mr. Saeedi-Nia, including images and chats from his WhatsApp. The prosecutor's representative stated that Mr. Saeedi-Nia had "discussed plans to close the cafes simultaneously with the enemy's call for action on WhatsApp."

The judge told him: "With the call you made and the actions you took, you have led this number of young people into this predicament, and the regime has suffered significant damages. How can you compensate for this?"
    @VahidHeadline
The prosecutor's representative cited instances of Mr. Saeedi-Nia's activities on social media, including a clip of one of his employees with "Long Live the King" written on his hand, creating and managing a WhatsApp group for cafe employees, sending a voice message about turning off phones to avoid tracking, the presence of some employees at protests, and planning to close cafes and factories simultaneously with protest calls as examples of the charges against him.

Donald Trump, referring to the increased economic costs resulting from the confrontation with the Islamic Republic, urged Americans to endure this short-term pressure, stating that preventing the threat from the Iranian regime is a higher priority than the short-term economic consequences.

He emphasized: "I'm sorry you're enduring this pressure, but we have to stop this very crazy group."

In another part of the interview, the U.S. President said that the Iranian regime has been severely weakened militarily and reiterated: "They no longer have a navy. They don't have an air force. Everything has been destroyed. Their air force is gone."

He stressed: "The Strait will be opened. They will not have nuclear weapons, and the world will go on."

The U.S. President stated that he halted the final phase of operations against Iran at the request of officials from Pakistan. He said: "They said: Can you stop? We are going to reach an agreement. And we really had the framework of an agreement; without a nuclear program."

Trump further emphasized that Tehran had agreed to hand over the remnants of its nuclear program but has retreated after every agreement. He said: "Every time they agree, the next day it’s as if they say we never had such discussions. This has happened about five times. There is a problem with them. They are really crazy. And that’s why they cannot have nuclear weapons."

In another part of the interview, in response to the question of whether he underestimated the strength and resilience of the Iranian regime, he said: "I did not underestimate anything. We have hit them hard."

Trump emphasized that the U.S. has deliberately not targeted part of Iran's infrastructure, adding: "We left their bridges intact. We left their power infrastructure intact. We can destroy all of it in two days; everything." He said that oil facilities and some infrastructure in Khark have not been attacked because damage to them could lead to the loss of oil.

Regarding the status of negotiations with the Islamic Republic, the U.S. President said that the individuals the U.S. is talking to seem "reasonable," but they lack the ability or readiness to make decisions.

In response to the question of who the U.S. is currently dealing with in Iran, he said: "We are dealing with people who I think are reasonable, but they are afraid of an agreement. They don’t know how to agree. They have never been in such a situation before." He emphasized that he would do what is right and would wait until a deal is reached.

He also mentioned that Iranian officials told him that the location of nuclear materials has been severely targeted and that a "granite mountain" has collapsed on it. Trump added: "They said only two countries can access it; us and China. They said they themselves cannot access it because it has been completely destroyed."

Trump stated: "We cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. They will use it against us. First, they will destroy Israel, then the Middle East, then Europe."

Regarding the rise in fuel prices in the U.S., he said the economic pressure resulting from the crisis will be short-term, adding: "When people hear the full explanation, everyone will agree. This will be a short-term pain." Trump said that after the crisis ends, energy prices will "drop like a rock."

The U.S. President, in response to concerns about the increased economic pressure on American families due to the war with Iran and rising costs, said citizens must endure this pressure because, according to him, the goal is to confront a greater threat.

In reaction to the fact that some Americans feel the increase in costs and economic pessimism, he said: "They have to endure and believe that we will take them to a better place. But I have to do the right thing."

Trump linked the economic pressures resulting from the crisis to the necessity of confronting the Islamic Republic, saying: "I told the people I’m sorry you’re enduring this pressure, but we have to stop this very crazy group."

The U.S. President also stated that the Iranian oil tankers that China has recently moved were allowed to do so by Washington. He said: "We allowed this to happen."

In conclusion, in response to the question of whether the Iranian regime will ultimately retreat, he said: "Yes, definitely. I have no doubt."

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Friday, May 25, in response to reporters while returning from China, stated that he rejected Iran's latest proposal in nuclear negotiations "from the very first sentence." He mentioned that the initial content of this proposal was "unacceptable" and added, "I didn't even read the rest of it." Trump emphasized that merely setting a time frame like 20 years is not enough, and what matters is providing real and enforceable guarantees from Iran. The U.S. President also clarified that any agreement must include the complete transfer of nuclear materials and fuel from Iran, adding that an agreement based on "hollow words" would not be acceptable.
    @VahidOOnLine
In response to a question about the recent proposal from the Islamic Republic, Donald Trump said he had reviewed the proposal, but according to him, if he doesn't like the first sentence of a text, he discards the rest. When asked what the first sentence was, Trump described it as "unacceptable" and stated that the main issue from his perspective is that Iran should not have "any form" of a nuclear program.
Later, a reporter asked Trump if a 20-year period was not sufficient for him. Trump replied that "20 years is enough," but according to him, the level of guarantees that the Islamic Republic provides is what matters. Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in an interview with Fox News that he has spoken with China about Iran.

Trump added that he does not believe China wants the Islamic Republic to acquire nuclear weapons.

He said the Islamic Republic can either "agree or be destroyed." The President of the United States mentioned that he does not want to do such a thing, but the U.S. has the strongest military in the world.

Trump said we are dealing with the "third tier" of leaders in the Islamic Republic. He noted that the first and second tiers of leadership have been destroyed and believes that the third tier is "more logical" and in some ways "smarter" than the first and second tiers "who are no longer with us."

He compared this change somewhat to a "regime change."

Trump pointed out that the Islamic Republic took "five days" to respond to the U.S. proposal, which "wouldn't even take an hour," adding that the Islamic Republic has "a lot of chaos" internally and has "nothing but chaos."

Regarding China's support for the Islamic Republic, Trump said that Chinese President Xi Jinping firmly stated that he would not provide weapons to the Islamic Republic.
    ...
He added, "I hope" the Islamic Republic sees this interview because the U.S. can quickly destroy all the weapons they may have acquired during the ceasefire. Trump said, "We know exactly what they are doing... and everything they have done in the past four weeks, we can eliminate in one day."

The President of the United States said the war could have continued "a few more weeks" and it would have been over, but he stopped it at the request of several countries. Trump stated that the Islamic Republic has two options: "either agree or be destroyed."

Trump also mentioned that removing enriched uranium from Iran would be done more for "public relations" and he would feel better knowing that those materials are out of Iran.

The President of the United States added, "Getting it is a big project, really a big project."

He said, "At first, we thought about doing this, but it takes time; it would take about a week and a half, and that's a long time to be in enemy territory."

Donald Trump explained that "you have to move this massive amount of granite. You know, there's granite there. Granite is the hardest stone. It's really amazing because the bombs we used were incredibly powerful. And don't forget that in addition to that, we also hit it with Tomahawk missiles."

He said he does not think removing those materials from Iran is "necessary, except for public relations. I think it's important for the fake media that we get it. I was the one who said we would get it, and we will get it. We're keeping an eye on it."

Trump pointed out that with the U.S. "Space Force," which was his initiative, all movements around nuclear sites in Iran are monitored by the U.S.

He said, "I would prefer to get it, but we are watching it. We know exactly what is happening there. A few days ago, a man tried to enter that passage. We saw a door completely shattered. And we are aware of everything. If they ever make a move, and I have told them this, if they send a force and I see someone trying, the only thing we will do is hit that place with a few more bombs and it's over. They won't do such a thing."

Trump said, "I told them we have 9 cameras 24/7 at that location, at those three sites. We know exactly what is going on. No one has even come close. Initially, they checked and said there is no way anyone can reach that nuclear dust. But still, I would prefer to have it. I would prefer to get it."

Trump: What the President of China meant by a declining America was the Biden era

Machine translation: When President Xi delicately referred to the United States as a country that might be in decline, he was referring to the tremendous damage we suffered during the sleepy four years of Joe Biden and the Biden administration; and in that regard, he was 100 percent correct. Our country has been severely harmed with open borders, high taxes, transgenderism for all, men in women's sports, DEI, terrible trade deals, rampant crime, and many other things!

President Xi was not referring to the astonishing rise that the United States showcased to the world during the spectacular 16 months of the Trump administration; including historic records in the stock market and 401K retirement accounts, military victories and flourishing relations in Venezuela, the military destruction of Iran — which will continue! — the most powerful military on earth by a wide margin, the re-establishment of America as an economic superpower, with unprecedented investment of $18 trillion from others into the United States, the best job market in American history, with more people now working in the United States than ever before, the end of the country's destructive DEI, and so many other achievements that listing them immediately is impossible. In fact, President Xi congratulated me for the tremendous successes in such a short time.

Two years ago, we were indeed a declining nation. In that regard, I completely agree with President Xi! But now, the United States is the hottest country anywhere in the world, and I hope our relationship with China becomes stronger and better than ever!

Brad Cooper, the commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), announced that Iran's missile, drone, and naval industries have been "90 percent weakened."

In a hearing before the U.S. Senate, he stated: "The threat from Iran has been significantly diminished, and this country is no longer capable of threatening regional partners or the United States in any domain as it once did. They have been severely weakened."

Cooper noted that Iran's armed proxy forces had carried out over 350 attacks against American troops and diplomats in the 30 months leading up to the recent war; an average of one attack every three days, resulting in the deaths of four American soldiers.

Defending the recent war, Brad Cooper emphasized: "Today, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis have all been cut off from Iranian weapons and support. This outcome was not guaranteed in advance."

He also mentioned that U.S. forces no longer use advanced and expensive munitions to take down Iranian drones. The costly defense systems to counter Iranian drones had made headlines during the war, but the CENTCOM commander stated that the U.S. military is now using cheaper munitions.

Hamid Rasai, the representative of Tehran in the Parliament, wrote that a "well-known" faction in the fourteenth government, which sees the solution as "liberating and increasing prices," intends to reduce the subsidized gasoline prices of 1,500 tomans and 3,000 tomans and raise the price of gasoline from 5,000 tomans to 15,000 to 20,000 tomans.

He added that the same faction in the fourteenth government had previously imposed what he called "the highest inflation since the 1979 Revolution" on the people by eliminating the preferential exchange rate of 28,500 tomans and increasing the currency price.

Rasai wrote that Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has "closed off the Parliament without justification and reason," blocking the representatives' oversight of the government's decisions. He added that fulfilling the duties of representation has become difficult, but he is trying to pull the Parliament out of this "intentional death" and prevent these "strange" decisions in the current "difficult and wartime" situation.

Mostafa Pourdehghan, the second secretary of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Parliament, has stated that the Supreme National Security Council's resolution regarding the Internet Pro has turned into a "gift for Hamrah Aval, Irancell, and Rightel" in practice.

Regarding the selection of Mohammad Reza Aref as the head of the special headquarters for organizing the virtual space, he said that "the Parliament knows nothing about this" and described Masoud Pezeshkian's appointment as "decorative."

According to this parliament member, such actions have more of a "psychological" aspect and are not expected to lead to "any significant event" in this regard.

Mr. Pourdehghan also mentioned that worse than internet outages is the closure of the Parliament, and currently, the Parliament has no special communication with many government ministers regarding their performance, one of which is the issue of the internet, and we still do not have a special session for someone to come and explain the situation.
