    Ismail Baqai, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, rejected the Islamic Republic's invitation to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to come to Iran and inspect nuclear facilities on Friday.

    He stated, "Inspections of facilities where the Agency's access was halted due to military attacks will depend on the negotiation process and its outcome."

    Earlier, JD Vance, the U.S. Vice President, mentioned in an interview with NBC following the recent agreement that, based on the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, IAEA inspectors will "definitely" return to Iran.

    Ismail Baqai also mentioned that they are planning to hold a meeting in the coming days.

    The meeting between representatives of Iran and the United States, which was scheduled to take place on Friday in Switzerland, has been canceled.

    The spokesperson for the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry announced, "Considering that the signing of the memorandum text was done digitally in the early hours of June 18, holding the aforementioned meeting in Switzerland is not urgent."

    He also deemed reports about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz as "baseless" and stated that shipping in this route is ongoing.

    A senior U.S. official told Reuters that Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire set to begin at 4 PM local time on Friday.

    The official, who requested anonymity, added that American and Qatari negotiators finalized the agreement with the help of Iran.

    The official also stated, "Our understanding is that following today's exchange of fire, Israel and Hezbollah are now in a ceasefire situation."

    Al Arabiya also reported, citing a U.S. official, about the agreement for a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah starting on Friday.

    This comes as the Israeli Prime Minister announced just hours ago that the country's military forces will remain in Lebanese territory for as long as necessary.

    Italy's Foreign Minister announced on Friday that he is canceling his planned trip to the United States in response to reports about Donald Trump's remarks. Antonio Tajani wrote on X: "The extremely offensive words of President Trump... insult all the people of Italy."

    According to the Italian network "La7," Trump had said about his meeting with Meloni at the G7 summit: "Meloni wanted to take a picture with me so badly that I only agreed out of pity."

    Georgia Meloni, the Prime Minister of Italy, reacted to Trump's recent comments, calling them "completely fabricated" and stated that she was "astonished and shocked" by his behavior towards allies.

    She emphasized: "I don't know why the President of the United States behaves this way with his allies," adding that this is not the first time such positions have been expressed by Trump.

    ✅️#Mohammad_Nourouzi, an Afghan citizen residing in Iran, who was arrested at his home on January 15, 2025, has been sentenced to six years in prison by the court.

    🔹️According to reports received by the follow-up committee, Mohammad Nourouzi was transferred to the Malard police station after his arrest and, after four days, was moved to Qazalhesar prison with physical abuse. During this time, he was constantly threatened with being deported and expelled from Iran.

    🔹️He was eventually released from prison on a bail of one billion tomans and then sentenced by the court to six years in prison on charges of "gathering and colluding and propaganda against the regime."

    This ruling is currently under appeal.

    Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, reiterated on Friday that Israeli forces will remain in Lebanon "for as long as necessary" and promised that the Iran-backed Hezbollah will pay a "very heavy price" for its attacks.

    He had also emphasized the continued presence of the Israeli army in southern Lebanon just hours after the signing of a ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States on Thursday.

    In a statement on Friday, released after the announcement of the deaths of four Israeli soldiers in Lebanon by the army, he said: "Israel will not tolerate attacks on its soldiers or territory and will exact a very heavy price from Hezbollah for these attacks."

    He added: "Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to protect the northern communities."

    Israel Katz, the Defense Minister, also stated that the army will stay in Lebanon and added that it will respond to any attack "with significant force."

    Lebanon has reported that 18 people have been killed across the country due to Israeli attacks.

    The former official related to Iran sanctions on the "300 billion dollar fund": Its prerequisite is the lifting of all sanctions, which does not have an on/off switch.

    Miad Maleki, the former director of the "Office of Sanctions Targeting at the U.S. Treasury," writes in a note about the "300 billion dollar fund" for Iran, which many experts have expressed doubts about: Setting aside the issue of oil exemptions/permits and concerns regarding the lack of new sanctions, considering the requirements for the actual implementation of Clause 6 (the 300 billion dollar reconstruction fund) and Clause 7 (lifting all sanctions), we conclude that the American negotiators either knew that a final agreement was impossible, or this memorandum of understanding merely postpones decision-making to the future.

    Maleki, who himself played a role in designing sanctions against the Iranian government, writes in this note: This is what "full implementation" practically requires, beyond nuclear concessions:
    Clause 6 — The 300 billion dollar fund:
    Issuance of a presidential exemption from mandatory sanctions on Iran's construction sector under Section 1245 of the IFCA (180-day renewable exemptions that require notification to Congress each period).
    Removing the IRGC from the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO), as otherwise, investors would face the risk of criminal liability due to "material support," and no permit would resolve this issue.
    Utilizing a national interest-based exemption under the ISA (Iran Sanctions Act) for investment in the energy and oil sector.
    As a result, no investment entity is willing to commit billions of dollars based on renewable six-month exemptions.

    Clause 7 — Lifting all sanctions:
    Section 104 of the CISADA (Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act) does not grant the President exemption authority; sanctions are mandatory, and their lifting requires the passage of new legislation in Congress.
    Section 1245 of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) provides for 120-day renewable exemptions that require mandatory reporting to Congress each period.
    Designating Iran's financial sector as a "money laundering concern" under Section 311 of the Patriot Act: This requires separate regulation by the U.S. Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and cannot be resolved solely through the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
    Sanctions related to terrorism, human rights, and overlaps with the Russia case: Each requires independent and separate legal actions.
    Maleki continues: "Lifting all sanctions" is not an on/off switch, but a multi-year project in the realm of legislation and regulation, and Congress also has a vote in this matter. The question arises as to how to compel the European Union to lift the restrictions related to Iran that were imposed in the context of the Russia cases.
