🔸Media reports indicate that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, entered the White House on Wednesday, February 11, to discuss Iran with U.S. President Donald Trump.
    @VahidHeadline

🔸Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, told Al Jazeera that Tehran has not received any specific proposals from the U.S. so far, and what took place in Oman was merely a message exchange. He added that the U.S. entering negotiations is a sign of moving towards a "rational path." Larijani emphasized that the Islamic Republic's position on the principle of negotiation is "positive" and stated that discussions are ongoing, with some regional countries working towards a resolution. He also mentioned that there is no discussion about a complete halt to uranium enrichment due to energy needs, and negotiations with Washington are limited to the nuclear issue and do not include other topics.
    @VahidOOnLine

🔸Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran's missile weapons "are not a subject of negotiations with the U.S. and will not be." The Iranian Foreign Minister, who participated in the government rally on February 11 in Tehran, responded to a question about Donald Trump's recent statements by saying: "No one can threaten our missiles. Our missiles are not a subject of negotiation and will not be." This comes as the U.S. President emphasized on Tuesday evening that a good deal, in his view, is one regarding the Islamic Republic without nuclear weapons, missiles, and other issues. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, also stated in his speech at the government ceremony on February 11 that Tehran is ready for any verification regarding its nuclear program but "will not bow to their excessive demands."

🔸Hillel Neuer, an international lawyer and executive director of UN Watch, called on the UN Secretary-General to withdraw the invitation for Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, to speak at the Human Rights Council of the organization. Neuer mentioned Antonio Guterres, writing to him: "If you do not withdraw the invitation to this mass murderer, we will ask the Swiss police to arrest him on charges of crimes against humanity."

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in an interview with Fox News that any agreement with Iran must include not only the country's nuclear program but also Tehran's missile program.

Mr. Trump, who mentioned the possibility of sending another naval group to the Persian Gulf on Tuesday, emphasized in the Fox News interview: "Many people say no, but I say I would prefer an agreement to be made; of course, it has to be a good agreement. No nuclear weapons, no missiles, none of this and none of that; everything you want. But some people are worried because, according to them, Iran has been very dishonest with us over the years."

Mr. Trump's remarks about the terms of negotiations with Iran come as Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister, and other leaders of the Islamic Republic state that the country's missile program is "non-negotiable" and that regarding the nuclear program, the country will not relinquish its right to enrichment, although it may temporarily halt or reduce it for confidence-building purposes.

Yesterday, J.D. Vance, Mr. Trump's deputy, mentioned in Yerevan that the issue of the bloody crackdown on protests in Iran in December has also been raised in negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

Trump: Iran Will Never Have Nuclear Weapons or Missiles

Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview with Israel's Channel 12, stated that the Islamic Republic is eager to reach an agreement and warned that if negotiations fail, severe consequences await Tehran. Trump emphasized, "The Iranians really want to reach an agreement. Either we make a deal, or we will have to do something very tough; like last time."

He referred to the extensive U.S. military presence in the region, adding, "We have a huge fleet there, and maybe another one is on the way." Trump also mentioned that he does not believe Benjamin Netanyahu is worried about the negotiation process, stating, "I don't think Netanyahu is anxious about the talks with Iran. He also wants a deal; a good deal."

Continuing on Iran's capabilities, Trump said, "We can reach a great agreement with Iran. They will not have nuclear weapons. There will be no missiles either; the nuclear issue is clear." He emphasized the difference between the current situation and the past, saying, "These talks are completely different from last time. The Iranians did not believe I would attack them. They took a very big risk."

Lindsey Graham, the senior Republican senator in the U.S. Congress, accused Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt of seeking to maintain the status quo in Iran just hours after Hakan Fidan, Turkey's foreign minister, spoke with the Turkish section of CNN. He told America's allies in the Middle East, "Don't think about keeping the Ayatollah."

In a strong reaction on his X account, Lindsey Graham directly addressed Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt, stating: "Your desire to maintain the status quo and ignore the legitimate demands of the Iranian people is, in my view, completely outside the framework of U.S. national security interests and also outside the framework of basic humanitarian principles."

He told these countries: "If you even think for a moment that after all the pushbacks and resistance from the Iranian people, leaving the Ayatollah and his murderous regime in power is a good idea, you are living in a dream world. The time has come, and it has long passed, for the region to stand bravely and cohesively against the murderous Ayatollah; someone who slaughters his own people and is a religious Nazi."

He further recalled the controversial remarks of Donald Trump, the U.S. President, who told Iranian protesters, "Keep protesting, help is on the way," saying: "The President of the United States will stand on the right side of history. I believe he is a man of his word. Freedom for Iran."

Since the beginning of the protests in December, Lindsey Graham has repeatedly called for U.S. action to overthrow the Islamic Republic's government in Iran and has strongly condemned the repression and killing of protesters in the country.

These remarks come at a time when many regional powers, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, as well as Iraq, Oman, and Pakistan, have called for a reduction in tensions between Iran and the U.S. and have simultaneously expressed readiness to participate in negotiations between Iran and the U.S.

The stance of these countries in support of a diplomatic resolution to the Iran-U.S. disputes came immediately after the bloody crackdown on protests in Iran. In this context, Turkish leaders have repeatedly opposed military action against Iran and have taken significant steps toward reducing tensions between Iran and the U.S.

🔸On Sunday, Azar Mansouri, head of the Reform Front, Ebrahim Asgharzadeh, head of the political committee of this front, and Mohsen Aminzadeh, deputy foreign minister in Mohammad Khatami's government, were arrested.
Ali Shakouri Rad, a member of the central council of the National Unity Party, Javad Emam, spokesperson for the Reform Front, and Hossein Karroubi, son of Mehdi Karroubi, were also arrested on Tuesday, February 20.
According to reports, several other members of the Reform Front have also been summoned by security agencies.
The crackdown on these individuals, whose numbers have increased over the past two days, began right after Gholamhossein Mohseni Eje'i, head of the judiciary, stated on Sunday, February 19, without naming anyone: "Those who were once with the revolution are now issuing statements; they are miserable and suffering losses."
He added: "Those who issue statements against the Islamic Republic from within are in harmony with the Zionist regime and the United States."
On Tuesday, Mohseni Eje'i continued this stance, saying: "Unfortunately, some today are in sync with the enemy, busy spreading despair and hopelessness in society and among the youth. Others are serving the criminal leaders of the Zionist regime and the United States and are targeting the pillar of the revolution, which is the guardianship, and are disrespecting our sanctities."
Ali Shakouri Rad, whose arrest was reported on Tuesday, had given a speech last week that received significant media and social media attention.
He had stated in a gathering of vice presidents that government institutions have used the method of "creating martyrs from their own forces" to obtain a "pretext for suppressing" protesters and have injected violence into society.

Ali Akbar Salehi, who was appointed as the head of the Iranology Foundation in March 2025, protested the use of the lion and sun symbol by "others."
As reported by the news website Mashregh, Ruhollah Khomeini had said regarding this matter: "The flag of Iran should not be the flag of the monarchy; the symbols of Iran should not be the symbols of the monarchy; they should be Islamic symbols. All ministries, all offices, must remove this accursed 'lion and sun'; the banner of Islam must be present. The remnants of tyranny must go. 🔸Abbas Araghchi stated that the location of the next round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the U.S. may change, and this will be determined after consulting with the foreign minister of Oman. Mr. Araghchi said: "A series of confidence-building measures are possible from our side, but the sanctions must be lifted in return." In a press conference in Tehran, he explained that the negotiations on Friday in Muscat were "indirect from our perspective," and there was no formal direct meeting with the American delegation; direct communication was only "at the level of diplomatic niceties and handshakes." The Iranian foreign minister stated that the continuation of negotiations depends on assessing the "seriousness of the U.S." and if a decision is made to continue talks, they will be "focused solely on the nuclear issue." According to Abbas Araghchi, other topics, including missile programs or regional policies and groups aligned with Iran, are "not on the agenda of the negotiations and will not be," and "the negotiations are only about the nuclear file and will continue within this framework." Abbas Araghchi also emphasized that "zero enrichment" is "unacceptable" for Iran and recognized the right to enrichment in Iran as a condition for the success of negotiations with the U.S. The Iranian foreign minister stated that the presence of the commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East, CENTCOM, during the negotiations in Muscat "did not change the essence of the matter." The presence of Admiral Brad Cooper, the CENTCOM commander, drew criticism from several critics of the government. According to Mr. Araghchi, Iran opposed the presence of a military official in the negotiation process and informed the American side that "the presence of a military figure in the diplomatic process" is unacceptable. He said: "We were told that he came to visit his ship. A request was made for him to be present within the framework of diplomatic niceties, but we firmly opposed it." Regarding the possibility of war with the U.S., he stated, "This possibility always exists," but the Islamic Republic is "prepared for both peace and war."
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, who traveled to Qatar to participate in a conference, emphasized once again that the Islamic Republic's missile program "is never negotiable," as it is considered a "defensive" matter.

The President of the United States described the talks with the Islamic Republic as good and reiterated that a large American fleet will soon be around Iran. He added that the discussions will continue early next week.

Donald Trump, speaking to reporters on Air Force One, said, "It seems that [the Islamic Republic] Iran really wants to reach an agreement badly. We’ll have to see what that agreement is. But I think Iran really wants to reach an agreement, and of course, they have to want it too."

The President of the United States referred to the negotiations before the U.S. attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities, stating that the Islamic Republic decided last time that perhaps they wouldn’t agree, "but I think now their opinion has probably changed. We will see what the agreement will be. It will be different from last time. And we have a large fleet, a big naval formation that is moving in that direction. We will be there soon. So we will see how it turns out."

A reporter, referring to the presence of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as Brad Cooper, the head of U.S. Central Command, in the negotiations with the Islamic Republic in Oman, asked Donald Trump: "It doesn’t seem like an agreement has been reached yet. How long are you willing to wait?"

To which Mr. Trump replied: "You have to maintain your position. We have plenty of time. If you remember Venezuela, we waited for a while. We are in no rush."

He said, "We have very good talks with Iran. We also have very good talks with Russia and Ukraine. We are having a lot of discussions."

Referring to "the results we had today with Iran," he said, "We are supposed to meet again early next week. They want to reach an agreement. Iran, as it should, wants to reach an agreement. They know the consequences of not reaching an agreement. If they don’t reach an agreement, the consequences will be very heavy. So we will see what happens."

The President of the United States said, "We will see how everything goes." He mentioned that he negotiated with a "high-ranking representative" of the Islamic Republic. Earlier, media had reported that Abbas Araghchi was representing the Islamic Republic in the Oman negotiations.

The President made these remarks while the White House announced hours after the Oman talks that Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing tariffs on the Islamic Republic's trade partners "to counter the Iranian regime."

The U.S. also sanctioned 17 vessels of the "shadow fleet" and 15 entities related to the illegal sale of Iranian oil on Friday, February 6.
