He also reported that there have been "advancements" in negotiations with Tehran to end the U.S. and Israeli war against Iran, and according to him, "there are good signs," but Washington is facing "a system that is somewhat fractured and divided."

The U.S. Secretary of State noted that senior officials from Pakistan will travel to Tehran today as mediators in the negotiations, stating: "The President of the United States prefers that a good agreement is reached... I am not here to say that such an event will definitely happen, but I am here to say that we will do everything we can to see if we can reach an agreement or not."

He also added that if a good agreement is not reached, Donald Trump "has clearly stated that he has other options."

Previously, reports had emerged about the visit of Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, to Tehran on Thursday. Iranian official news agencies published this news a day after the Pakistani Interior Minister entered Tehran for the second time this week.

Britain has unveiled a $5 billion trade agreement with Gulf countries; an agreement that, amid regional tensions following the Iran war, sends a "message of stability and confidence" to the markets, according to London.
This agreement with the Gulf Cooperation Council includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, and is expected to add around £3.7 billion to the UK economy annually.
London states that 93% of tariffs from Gulf countries on British goods will be eliminated, including food products, cars, aerospace, and electronics.

Media in Iran report on the execution of the murderer of Elahe Hosseinnajad, whose body was found in the deserts around Tehran in early June of last year. On the evening of June 4, 2025, 24-year-old Elahe Hosseinnajad left the beauty salon where she worked to go home to Islamshahr, but she disappeared. When her family filed a complaint, investigations by the criminal team revealed that Elahe had gotten into a passing vehicle at Azadi Square.

Search efforts to find Elahe finally yielded results after 11 days, with the arrest of the driver, a 37-year-old named Bahman, who confessed to murdering Elahe. The accused was sentenced to death after the trial.

رسانه‌ها در ایران از اجرای حکم اعدام قاتل الهه حسین‌نژاد، که جسد او اوایل خرداد سال گذشته در بیابان‌های اطراف تهران پیدا شد، خبر می‌دهند.
عصر چهارم خرداد ۱۴۰۴ الهه حسین‌نژاد ۲۴ ساله از سالن زیبایی که در آنجا مشغول به کار بود، بیرون آمد تا به خانه‌اش در اسلامشهر برود، اما ناپدید شد و وقتی خانواده‌اش اعلام شکایت کردند بررسی‌های تیم جنایی نشان می‌داد الهه از میدان آزادی سوار یک خودروی عبوری شده است.

جست و جوها برای یافتن الهه سرانجام پس از ۱۱ روز نتیجه داد و با دستگیری راننده خودرو به نام بهمن ۳۷ ساله و اعتراف به قتل الهه، جسد او در بیابان‌های اطراف تهران پیدا شد. متهم نیز پس از محاکمه به اعدام محکوم شد.

این قتل جنجال زیادی درباره امنیت زنان در ایران به پا کرد و تا مدت‌ها رسانه‌ها درباره آن مطالب مختلفی منتشر می‌کردند.

Human rights media reported that the Tehran Criminal Court, after re-examining the Ekbatan neighborhood case, sentenced three detained protesters in this case to blood money and five years in prison, while acquitting three other protesters of the charge of "premeditated murder." The death sentences for these six individuals had previously been overturned by the Supreme Court.

The Harana website reported on Wednesday, May 30, that Branch 13 of the Tehran Criminal Court sentenced Milad Arman, Alireza Kafayi, and Amir Mohammad Khoshghab to punishment for "participation in the premeditated murder" of Arman Ali-Vardi, a member of the Basij forces. Each of them has been sentenced to pay an equal share of the full blood money for a human life and five years in prison.

According to Harana's report, Navid Najaran, Hossein Naimati, and Alireza Barmarzpournak, the three other defendants in this case, were acquitted of the charge of participation in premeditated murder due to "lack of evidence indicating a blow to a specific area of Ali-Vardi's body."

This ruling was issued on February 4 of last year and was communicated to the lawyers of these individuals on Tuesday, May 29.

These six protesting citizens had been sentenced to death by the same branch in November 2023.

رسانه‌های حقوق بشری گزارش دادند دادگاه کیفری تهران پس از رسیدگی دوباره به پرونده شهرک اکباتان، سه معترض بازداشت‌شده در این پرونده را به دیه و پنج سال حبس محکوم و سه معترض دیگر را از اتهام مشارکت در «قتل عمد» تبرئه کرد. حکم اعدام این شش تن پیش‌تر در دیوان عالی کشور نقض شده بود.

سایت هرانا چهارشنبه ۳۰ اردیبهشت گزارش داد شعبه ۱۳ دادگاه کیفری یک استان تهران، میلاد آرمون، علیرضا کفایی و امیرمحمد خوش‌اقبال را بابت اتهام «مشارکت در قتل عمد» آرمان علی‌وردی، از نیروهای بسیج، محکوم کرد. هر یک از آن‌ها به پرداخت سهم مساوی از دیه کامل یک انسان و پنج سال حبس محکوم شده‌اند.

طبق گزارش هرانا، نوید نجاران، حسین نعمتی و علیرضا برمرزپورناک، سه متهم دیگر این پرونده، به دلیل «فقدان مدارک دال بر وارد کردن ضربه به ناحیه مشخصی از بدن علی‌وردی» از اتهام مشارکت در قتل عمد تبرئه شدند.

این حکم ۱۵ بهمن سال گذشته صادر و سه‌شنبه ۲۹ اردیبهشت به وکلای این افراد ابلاغ شده است.

این شش شهروند معترض در آبان ۱۴۰۳ از سوی همین شعبه به اعدام محکوم شده بودند.
