The President of the United States says that military operations in Iran are not over and that the U.S. military can target other objectives as well. Donald Trump, in an interview with American host Sheryl Attkisson, recorded last week and aired on Sunday, May 20, responded to the question of whether combat operations in Iran are finished by saying, "No, I didn't say that. I said they have failed, but that doesn't mean their work is done. We can take action for another two weeks and target each objective."
He noted that in the recent attacks by the U.S. and Israel, "probably 70 percent" of the targets were hit, adding, "We have other targets that we can probably attack. But even if we don't do that, it will take years for them to rebuild."
Mr. Trump's remarks seem to have been made before Iran sent its response to the latest U.S. proposal for this agreement, although he had rejected Iran's previous proposals.
In the interview with Sheryl Attkisson, the U.S. President also spoke about Iran's enriched uranium, which is buried deep underground in facilities targeted during last year's 12-day war, saying, "At some point, we will get it... We have that area under surveillance."
Trump added, "I created something called Space Force, and they are monitoring that area... If anyone approaches that site, we will be alerted and we will destroy them."
He has repeatedly indicated that any agreement with Iran should include the transfer of Iran's enriched uranium reserves to the U.S. Tehran has rejected such a request.
The U.S. President stated, "We cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons because they are crazy. We cannot give them nuclear access. Obama did that. If I hadn't canceled the Iran nuclear deal, they would have nuclear weapons now and would be using them against Israel and the Middle East, and maybe even beyond. You know, they actually have missiles that you saw can reach Europe."
When asked if it is true that combat operations against Iran are over, the U.S. President replied, "I didn't say that. I said they have failed, but that doesn't mean their work is done. We can take action for another two weeks and hit any target. We have specific targets that we have probably hit 70 percent of, but there are other targets we can hit."
Mr. Trump said that even if we don't do this, it will take many years for Iran to rebuild.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in an interview with CBS News about enriched uranium in Iran and the war against the Islamic Republic, said that Donald Trump told him he wants to go in there, and he believes this action is practically feasible. He added that if an agreement is reached and they can go in and dismantle this program, that would be the best way.
Netanyahu refrained from answering the question of what would happen if there is no agreement, stating that he does not set a timeline for this matter, but considers this mission very important.

به نظر میرسد اظهارات آقای ترامپ پیش از ارسال پاسخ ایران به آخرین پیشنهاد آمریکا برای این توافق انجام شده است. هرچند که او پیشنهادات قبلی ایران را رد کرده بود.
رئیسجمهور آمریکا در مصاحبه با شریل اتکیسون همچنین دربارهٔ اورانیوم غنیشده ایران که در عمق زمین و در تأسیسات هدف قرار گرفته در جنگ ۱۲ روزه سال گذشته مدفون شدهاند، گفت: «ما در مقطعی آن را به دست خواهیم آورد… ما آنجا را تحت نظارت داریم.»
ترامپ اضافه کرد: «من چیزی به نام نیروی فضایی ایجاد کردم و آنها آنجا را زیر نظر دارند… اگر کسی به آن محل نزدیک شود، ما مطلع خواهیم شد و آنها را نابود خواهیم کرد.»
او بارها اشاره کرده است که توافق با ایران باید شامل تحویل ذخایر اورانیوم غنیشده ایران به آمریکا باشد. تهران چنین درخواستی را رد کرده است.

بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخستوزیر اسرائیل، در گفتوگو با سیبیاس نیوز درباره اورانیوم غنیشده در ایران و جنگ علیه جمهوری اسلامی گفت دونالد ترامپ به او گفته میخواهد وارد آنجا شود و به نظر او این اقدام از نظر عملی امکانپذیر است. او افزود اگر توافقی حاصل شود و بتوان وارد شد و این برنامه را برچید، این بهترین راه خواهد بود.
نتانیاهو از پاسخ به این پرسش که در صورت عدم توافق چه رخ خواهد داد خودداری کرد و گفت برای این موضوع جدول زمانی تعیین نمیکند، اما این ماموریت را بسیار مهم دانست.
