Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said on Wednesday, October 22, that the Islamic Republic is pursuing negotiations alongside the war, and the goal of continuing the war is to force the enemy to accept Tehran's demands or to acknowledge defeat.

In a video message, Qalibaf stated: "We are both fighting and negotiating. We must fight with all our might when the time is right, increase our readiness, and whenever we achieve military victory in the field, we will register and solidify it in the political arena and turn it into a document of the enemy's defeat."

He further emphasized that the Islamic Republic's pursuit of both war and negotiations simultaneously does not mean the endless continuation of either. Qalibaf said: "When we say we are both fighting and negotiating, we do not mean that we are engaging in endless war or perpetual negotiations; rather, we fight to put the enemy in a corner and compel them to accept our demands, or if they do not, to acknowledge their defeat."

محمدباقر قالیباف، رییس مجلس شورای اسلامی، روز چهارشنبه ۲۲ مهر گفت جمهوری اسلامی هم‌زمان با جنگ، مذاکره را نیز دنبال می‌کند و هدف از ادامه جنگ را وادار کردن دشمن به پذیرش خواسته‌های تهران یا پذیرفتن شکست عنوان کرد.

قالیباف در یک پیام ویدیویی گفت: «هم می‌جنگیم و هم مذاکره می‌کنیم. باید در زمان لازم با تمام توان بجنگیم، آمادگی خود را بالا ببریم و هر وقت در میدان به پیروزی نظامی می‌رسیم، آن را در عرصه سیاسی ثبت و تثبیت و به سند شکست دشمن تبدیل کنیم.»

او در ادامه تاکید کرد که منظور جمهوری اسلامی از دنبال کردن هم‌زمان جنگ و مذاکره، ادامه بی‌پایان هیچ‌یک از این دو نیست.
قالیباف گفت: «وقتی می‌گوییم هم می‌جنگیم و هم مذاکره می‌کنیم، منظورمان این نیست که جنگ بی‌پایان یا مذاکره همیشگی می‌کنیم، بلکه جنگ می‌کنیم تا دشمن را مستاصل کنیم و به خواسته‌های ما تن دهد یا اگر تن نداد، شکست را بپذیرد.»

On Wednesday, October 22, the lawyers of Vrisheh Moradi announced that Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, which had previously sentenced this political prisoner held in Evin to death on charges of "membership in a rebel group," insisted on its previous ruling despite the Supreme Court's request to review the "deficiencies in the investigation."

Amir Sajadi and Keyvan Azizi, Vrisheh Moradi's lawyers, stated in an interview with "Emtidad" that they received the ruling issued by this branch on Wednesday, October 22, and according to the notification, they have 20 days to appeal to the Supreme Court.

According to them, this ruling was issued at a time when the previous ruling by Branch 15 regarding the death penalty for Vrisheh Moradi had been annulled by the reviewing branch in the Supreme Court due to serious doubts raised about the investigations; however, the mentioned branch, without conducting the necessary investigations requested by the Supreme Court, merely changed the title of the accusation and again sentenced Ms. Moradi to death on charges of membership in a rebel group.

Amir Sajadi stated that "the lawyers believe there is no sufficient and convincing evidence to attribute such an accusation to Vrisheh Moradi" and emphasized: "Ms. Moradi has absolutely not participated in any operations against the Islamic Republic, and her activities are solely related to her struggles against ISIS in northern Syria."

Keyvan Azizi also emphasized the appeal of Vrisheh Moradi's lawyers within the legal timeframe and expressed hope that "the Supreme Court, as in the previous instance, will pay sufficient attention to the defenses and objections."

Vrisheh Moradi, who is currently imprisoned in Evin, was arrested on July 31, 2023, in the suburbs of Sanandaj, and on December 26 of the same year, after the completion of the interrogation stages, she was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention center known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison to the women's ward of this prison.

On November 11, 2024, she was sentenced to death by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on charges of "baghi" (armed uprising against the government). In an open letter from prison, she revealed that during her detention, she was subjected to physical and psychological torture, threats of execution, and gender-based violence.

وکلای وریشه مرادی روز چهارشنبه ۲۲ مهر اعلام کردند شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران که پیش‌تر این زندانی سیاسی محبوس در اوین را به اتهام «عضویت در گروه باغی» به اعدام محکوم کرده بود، با وجود درخواست دیوان عالی کشور برای بررسی «نقص تحقیقات»، بر حکم پیشین خود مبنی بر اعدام پافشاری کرد.

امیر سجادی و کیوان عزیزی، وکلای وریشه مرادی، در گفت‌وگو با «امتداد»، با اعلام این خبر تصریح کردند که روز چهارشنبه ۲۲ مهر با مراجعه به شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب حکم صادره توسط این شعبه را دریافت کرده‌اند، و مطابق حکم ابلاغی ۲۰ روز فرصت دارند در دیوان عالی کشور فرجام‌خواهی کنند.

به گفته آنها، این حکم در شرایطی صادر شده که حکم قبلی شعبه ۱۵ مبنی بر صدور مجازات اعدام برای وریشه مرادی با طرح شبهات جدی در مورد تحقیقات، توسط شعبه رسیدگی‌کننده در دیوان عالی کشور نقض شده بود؛ ولی شعبه مذکور بدون انجام تحقیقات مورد نظر دیوان عالی، صرفا با تغییر عنوان اتهامی، خانم مرادی را مجددا به اتهام عضویت در گروه باغی به اعدام محکوم کرد.

امیر سجادی با بیان اینکه «به باور وکلا دلایل کافی و متقن برای انتساب چنین اتهامی به وریشه مرادی وجود ندارد» تاکید کرد: «خانم مرادی مطلقا در هیچ عملیاتی علیه جمهوری اسلامی مداخله نداشته و فعالیت‌های او صرفا مربوط به مبارزات نامبرده علیه داعش در شمال سوریه بوده است.»

کیوان عزیزی هم با تاکید بر فرجام‌خواهی وکلای وریشه مرادی در مهلت قانونی ابراز امیدواری کرد «دیوان عالی کشور، همچون مرتبه‌ی پیشین، به دفاعیات و ایرادات، توجه کافی داشته باشد.»

وریشه مرادی که در حال‌حاضر در زندان اوین محبوس است، ۱۰ مرداد ۱۴۰۲ در حومه سنندج بازداشت شد، و در تاریخ ۵ دی همان سال با اتمام مراحل بازجویی از بازداشتگاه وزارت اطلاعات موسوم به بند ۲۰۹ زندان اوین به بند زنان این زندان منتقل شد.

او ۲۰ آبان ۱۴۰۳ توسط شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به اتهام «بغی» (قیام مسلحانه علیه حکومت) به اعدام محکوم شد. وی در نامه‌ای سرگشاده از زندان فاش کرد که در طول بازداشت تحت شکنجه‌های جسمی و روانی، تهدید به اعدام، و خشونت‌های جنسیتی قرار گرفته است.

دقایقی پیش از اعلام این خبر، مرکز اطلاع‌رسانی پلیس سیستان و بلوچستان اعلام کرده بود که افراد ناشناس به خودروی نیروی انتظامی در شهرستان مهرستان، واقع در جنوب شرقی استان سیستان و بلوچستان، حمله کردند.

به گفته مقام‌های محلی، محمدعلی شهریاری، مامور نیروی انتظامی، در جریان این حمله کشته شد.

Following warnings from Saudi officials about the threat of airstrikes, a loud explosion was heard in Riyadh, the capital of the country, on Tuesday, October 21, along with several explosions near the headquarters of the Aramco oil company in Dhahran.

اندی برنهام، نخست‌وزیر بریتانیا، درباره حادثه پایگاه هوایی فرفورد، دوشنبه ۲۰ مهر گفت که به احتمال زیاد این اقدام در ایران هماهنگ شده و به دستور سپاه پاسداران انجام شده است.

نخست‌وزیر بریتانیا در واکنش به این حادثه اعلام کرد که دولت این کشور تحریم‌های بیشتری علیه جمهوری اسلامی اعمال خواهد کرد.

بریتانیا در تازه‌ترین بسته تحریمی علیه جمهوری اسلامی، دو شهروند ایرانی را به اتهام دست داشتن در فعالیت‌های خصمانه، از جمله جاسوسی و مشارکت در تهدید یا طراحی حملات علیه افراد در خارج از ایران، تحریم کرد.
دولت بریتانیا روح‌الله بازقندی و شهرام علیرضا تمرزاده جکی را به فهرست تحریم‌های خود اضافه کرد.

According to the report, Air France-KLM has extended the suspension of its round-trip flights to Riyadh until November 9, and the Lufthansa Group has canceled all its flights to the city until October 24. Etihad Airways has suspended all its flights to Saudi Arabia until October 21, and the Indian airline IndiGo has suspended flights to Riyadh and Dammam until October 23.

خبرگزاری رویترز دوشنبه ۲۰ مهر گزارش داد در پی حملات حوثی‌های مورد حمایت جمهوری اسلامی به فرودگاه ریاض، چند شرکت هواپیمایی بین‌المللی پروازهای خود به عربستان سعودی را لغو یا تعلیق کرده‌اند.
بر اساس این گزارش، ایرفرانس-کی‌ال‌ام تعلیق پروازهای رفت‌وبرگشت ریاض را تا ۹ آبان تمدید کرده و گروه لوفت‌هانزا نیز تمامی پروازهای خود به این شهر را تا ۲۴ مهر لغو کرده است.

The judiciary of the Islamic Republic claims that on Monday, it executed a "member" of the Jaish al-Adl group.

Mizan, the judiciary's news agency, reports that Omar Dastaran was tried and sentenced to death on charges of "baghi" (armed rebellion) and membership in Jaish al-Adl.

Mizan states that some of the charges against Mr. Dastaran relate to attacks on the police headquarters in Rask County, the IRGC base in Rask County, the Paroud base, and military installations in Chabahar County in Farvardin 1403.

According to this news agency, Omar Dastaran's actions included providing housing for group members, facilitating their entry into the country, moving operational teams to carry out armed attacks, procuring ammunition and weapons, and identifying military bases.

Human rights activists report that Omar Dastaran, 27 years old and from the village of Cheraghan in Rask County, Sistan and Baluchestan, was a student at the religious school in the city of Pishin and a former student of Molavi Naqshbandi. He had been imprisoned in Iran since Farvardin 1403.

The number of death penalty sentences and their execution in Iran has significantly increased since Dey 1404. Cases of execution for security-related crimes are also estimated to be much higher than in previous years.

قوه قضائیه جمهوری اسلامی می‌گوید که روز دوشنبه یک «عضو» گروه جیش‌العدل را اعدام کرده است.

میزان، خبرگزاری قوه قضائیه، می‌گوید که عمر درستاران به اتهام «بغی» (قیام مسلحانه) و عضویت در جیش‌العدل محاکمه و به اعدام محکوم شده بود.

میزان می‌گوید برخی از اتهامات آقای دستاران مربوط به حملاتی است که به مقر انتظامی شهرستان راسک، مقر سپاه شهرستان راسک، پایگاه پارود، و مقر‌های نظامی در فروردین سال ۱۴۰۳ در شهرستان چابهار صورت گرفته است.

به ادعای این خبرگزاری، تهیه محل اسکان اعضای گروه، تسهیل ورود این افراد به کشور، جابجایی تیم‌های عملیاتی برای انجام حملات مسلحانه، تهیه مهمات و سلاح و شناسایی مقرهای نظامی از جملات اقدامات عمر درستاران بوده است.

به گفته فعالان حقوق بشر عمر درستاران، ۲۷ ساله و اهل روستای چراغان شهرستان راسک در سیستان و بلوچستان و از طلاب مدرسه دینی شهر پیشین و از شاگردان سابق مولوی نقشبنید بوده است و از فرودین ماه سال ۱۴۰۳ در ایران زندانی شده بود.

تعداد احکام مجازات اعدام و اجرای آن در ایران از دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴ به‌شدت افزایش یافته است. موارد اعدام به جرایم امنیتی هم بسیار بیشتر از سال‌های گذشته برآورد می‌شود.

The public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced an explosion and fire on an oil tanker, stating: "A shuttle-type oil tanker carrying 750,000 barrels of crude oil attempted to pass through an unauthorized route, disregarding warnings and alerts from the IRGC Navy, and collided with a sea mine, resulting in a severe explosion and fire."

According to Fars News Agency, this is the third oil tanker in recent days that has caught fire due to collisions with sea mines as a result of "violating warnings and navigating through unapproved routes."

The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced that an "unknown projectile" targeted King Khalid International Airport.

Turki al-Maliki, the coalition spokesman, stated that the projectile hit Terminal 4 of King Khalid International Airport, causing a fire.
