🔸 Ali Khamenei said on Friday, January 19, the day after Iran witnessed the largest street presence of people during the twelfth night of the new wave of protests, "The Islamic Republic will not back down."

🔸 The leader of the Islamic Republic described the protesters as "a bunch of destroyers, rioters, and harmful individuals for the country" and stated that on Thursday evening, they engaged in "destruction of the country's buildings to please the heart of the President of the United States," emphasizing that "the Islamic Republic will not back down against those who are destructive."

🔸 The leader of the Islamic Republic also referred to Donald Trump's message, which warned Iranian officials that if they kill protesters, he will take action against the Iranian government.

🔸 In his second speech since the new wave of protests began on December 28, Khamenei attacked Donald Trump, accusing him of having "his hands stained with the blood of Iranians" during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, and added, "Now he says he supports the Iranian people, and a bunch of inattentive and thoughtless people believe him."

🔸 علی خامنه‌ای روز جمعه ۱۹ دی و در فردای شبی که ایران شاهد برگزاری گسترده‌ترین حضور خیابانی مردم در دوازدهمین شب از دور جدید اعتراضات بود، گفت: «جمهوری اسلامی کوتاه نخواهد آمد.»

🔸 رهبر جمهوری اسلامی حکومت ایران معترضان را «یک مشت تخریب‌گر، اغتشاشگر و افراد مضر برای کشور» خواند و گفت شامگاه پنجشنبه آن‌ها برای «خوشامد دل رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا به تخریب ساختمان‌های کشور» پرداختند و تأ‌کید کرد «در مقابل کسانی که تخریب‌گرند، جمهوری اسلامی کوتاه نخواهد آمد».

🔸 رهبر جمهوری اسلامی در ادامه به پیام دونالد ترامپ اشاره کرد که به مقامات جمهوری اسلامی هشدار داده است در صورت کشتن معترضان، علیه حکومت ایران اقدام می‌کند.

🔸 خامنه‌ای در دومین سخنرانی خود پس از شروع دور جدید اعتراضات که هفتم دی‌ماه آغاز شده، با حمله به دونالد ترامپ، او را متهم کرد که در جنگ ۱۲ روزهٔ ایران و اسرائیل، «دستش به خون ایرانیان آلوده است» و افزود، «حالا او می‌گوید من طرفدار ملت ایرانم و یک مشت بی‌توجه و فکرنکرده هم باور می‌کنند».
