این سناتور جمهوری‌خواه اضافه کرد: دونالد ترامپ می‌گوید بهترین راه برای بازگرداندن عظمت به ایران، پیروزی معترضان و سقوط رژیم است. چگونه این کار را انجام می‌دهید؟ هر اقدامی که قرار است انجام دهید، آقای رئیس جمهور، باید معترضان را جسور کند و رژیم را به شدت بترساند.
لیندسی گراهام تاکید کرد: اگر من جای شما بودم، آقای رئیس جمهور، رهبری را که مردم را می‌کشد، می‌کشتم. شما باید به این پایان دهید.
او اضافه کرد: اگر خوب تمام شود، آنگاه صلح برقرار می‌شود و تمام فعالیت‌های دولتی حامی تروریسم متوقف می‌شود.
