The United States has urged all its citizens to take immediate action to leave Iran.

The U.S. Virtual Embassy, referencing the widespread protests in Iran that have turned violent and the disruption of communications and internet, has advised American citizens that "they should expect ongoing internet outages, plan for alternative communication methods, and consider leaving Iran via land routes to Armenia or Turkey if it is safe to do so."

Furthermore, the U.S. has recommended how its citizens should act in the current situation, continuously informing their families of their status and attempting to exit through land borders.

On Monday, similar warnings were issued by several European countries, and it was reported that France has evacuated non-essential staff from its embassy in Tehran.

ایالات متحده آمریکا از همه اتباع خود خواست که فورا اقدام به ترک خاک ایران کنند.

سفارت مجازی آمریکا با اشاره به اعتراضات سراسری در ایران و به خشونت کشیده شدن آن و قطع ارتباطات و اینترنت به شهروندان آمریکایی توصیه کرده است که «باید انتظار قطع مداوم اینترنت را داشته باشند، برای استفاده از روش‌های ارتباطی جایگزین برنامه‌ریزی کنند و در صورت ایمن بودن، ترک ایران از طریق زمینی به مقصد ارمنستان یا ترکیه را در نظر بگیرند.»

در ادامه آمریکا به اتباعش توصیه کرده که در وضعیت کنونی چگونه عمل کنند و مدام حال خود را به خانواده خود اطلاع دهند و سعی در خروج از مرزهای زمینی داشته باشند.

روز دوشنبه هشدارهای مشابهی از سوی چند کشور اروپایی هم صادر شد و گزارش شد فرانسه کارمندان غیرضروری سفارت خود در تهران را از خاک ایران خارج کرده است.
