Israeli media reported that the political-security cabinet of Netanyahu's government will hold a meeting at 7 PM local time regarding Iran.

Walla wrote that in this meeting, topics including "possible plans for transitioning to an attack on the Islamic Republic" in coordination with the U.S. will be discussed.

The issue of attacking the Islamic Republic has intensified in recent days amid escalating protests. Donald Trump was the first to warn the Islamic Republic against suppressing protesters during a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu in the U.S. Since then, he has reiterated his warnings with a more serious tone, most recently stating that the military is considering how to deal with the Islamic Republic.

American media have reported that the U.S. government has presented options for dealing with the Islamic Republic due to its suppression and killings to Trump, one of which is a military option.

طرح موضوع حمله به جمهوری اسلامی در روزهای گذشته با تشدید اعتراضات جدی‌تر شده است. دونالد ترامپ نخستین‌بار در دیدار با بنیامین نتانیاهو در آمریکا بود که به جمهوری اسلامی هشدار داد به سرکوب معترضان نپردازد. پس از آن او چندین بار دیگر هشدارهای خود را با لحن جدی‌تر مطرح کرد و آخرین‌بار نیز گفت که ارتش موضوع چگونگی برخورد با جمهوری اسلامی را بررسی می‌کند.

ٰرسانه‌های آمریکایی نوشته‌اند دولت آمریکا گزینه‌های برخورد با جمهوری اسلامی به دلیل سرکوب و کشتار را به ترامپ ارائه داده که یکی از آن‌ها نیز گزینه نظامی است.
