Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in his latest response to the widespread protests in Iran, once again claimed that "help for Iranian patriots is on the way" and emphasized that he has canceled all meetings between American officials and the authorities of the Islamic Republic until the "meaningless slaughter" stops.

He also referred to the internal situation in Iran, stating: "Iran was a great country until these monsters seized it" and mentioned that the current conditions are "very fragile."

In remarks directed at the Iranian protesters, Trump said, "Keep protesting" and if they can, "take back their institutions." He also urged the protesters to "record the names of the perpetrators of repression and slaughter," as he stated, "they will pay a heavy price."

In another part of his speech, Trump announced that tariffs on companies trading with Iran have been implemented as of today and added: "I have just one sentence for them: help is on the way."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، در تازه‌ترین واکنش خود به اعتراضات سراسری در ایران، باردیگر مدعی شد که «کمک برای میهن‌پرستان ایرانی در راه است» و تأکید کرد که تمامی دیدارهای مقام‌های آمریکایی با مسئولان جمهوری اسلامی را تا زمان توقف «کشتار بی‌معنا» لغو کرده است.

او همچنین با اشاره به وضعیت داخلی ایران اظهار داشت: «ایران کشوری بزرگ بود تا زمانی که این هیولاها آن را قبضه کردند» و گفت که شرایط کنونی «بسیار شکننده» است.

ترامپ در اظهاراتی خطاب به معترضان ایرانی گفت که «به اعتراضات ادامه دهید» و اگر می‌توانند «نهادهای خود را پس بگیرند». او همچنین از معترضان خواست که «نام عاملان سرکوب و کشتار را ثبت کنند»، زیرا به‌گفته او «آن‌ها بهای سنگینی خواهند پرداخت».

ترامپ در بخش دیگری از سخنان خود اعلام کرد که وضع تعرفه بر شرکت‌هایی که با ایران تجارت می‌کنند از امروز اجرایی شده و افزود: «به آن‌ها فقط یک جمله می‌گویم: کمک در راه است.»
