The Qom Judiciary announced on Wednesday, January 24, 1404, that following the arrest of "Mohammad Saadi-Nia," the owner of the Saadi-Nia café chain on Tuesday, January 23, all of his assets and accounts have been confiscated.

The Qom Judiciary also stated that all of Saadi-Nia's business activities have been shut down and his legal case has been referred to the Article 49 court. This judicial body claimed that Saadi-Nia had "invited people to unrest and chaos."

In the early days of the nationwide protests in January 1404, Mohammad Saadi-Nia had announced that the Saadi-Nia chain would join the strike in support of the protests and the strike of merchants.

Earlier, the "Tasnim" news agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, reported on Tuesday, January 23, the news of his arrest and stated that Mohammad Saadi-Nia's business license and activity permits have been revoked.

دادگستری قم، چهارشنبه ۲۴دی۱۴۰۴ اعلام کرد که در پی بازداشت «محمد ساعدی‌نیا» مالک مجموعه کافه‌های ساعدی‌نیا در روز سه‌شنبه ۲۳دی، تمامی اموال و حساب‌های او مصادره شد.

دادگستری قم همچنین گفته است که تمامی مراکز فعالیت ساعدی‌نیا تعطیل و پرونده قضایی او به دادگاه اصل ۴۹ ارجاع داده شده است. این نهاد قضایی گفته است که ساعدی نیا «مردم را دعوت به اغتشاش و آشوب کرده بود.»

محمد سادی‌نیا در روزهای نخست اعتراضات سراسری دی ۱۴۰۴ اعلام کرده بود که مجموعه ساعدی‌نیا در حمایت از اعتراضات و اعتصاب بازاریان، به اعتصاب می‌پیوندند.

پیش‌تر، خبرگزاری «تسنیم» وابسته به سپاه پاسداران سه‌شنبه ۲۳دی خبر بازداشت او را منتشر کرده و خبر داده بود که پروانه کسب و مجوزهای فعالیت محمد ساعدی‌‌نیا باطل شده‌اند.
