♦️ The Tehran Governorate announced on Tuesday, January 30, that due to the continuation of severe cold and increased gas consumption, all offices and educational centers in Tehran Province will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1. This decision was made based on weather forecasts and approved by the Provincial Crisis Management Headquarters, affecting government offices, schools, universities, banks, and municipalities.

According to this announcement, healthcare, emergency, law enforcement, and service centers, as well as the stock market and bank branches on duty, are not subject to closure and will continue their operations. The Tehran Governorate added that the schedule for the continuation of school exams will be communicated later by the Ministry of Education.

At the same time, the Hamadan Governorate also announced the closure of offices and universities in the province on Wednesday, stating that schools will hold classes remotely.

The West Azerbaijan Governorate also announced the closure of offices and universities and the transition to remote schooling due to the severe drop in temperature and frost.

In Sistan and Baluchestan Province, schools in the cities of Zahedan, Khash, Taftan, and Mirjaveh will also be closed on Wednesday.
