These protests peaked on the 18th and 19th of Dey following a call from Prince Reza Pahlavi. Although there were reports of a bloody crackdown on protesters in the early days, it reached its climax on the 18th and 19th of Dey. At the same time, the internet in Iran was completely cut off, and other communication tools were also restricted.
