"Fatemeh Ardshir Larijani," the daughter of Ali Larijani, has been expelled from the university.

IranWire: Nasser Makarem, a neurosurgeon at Emory University in Atlanta, has published an image of the letter terminating Fatemeh Ardshir Larijani's employment. Her profile page on the university's website has been removed.
The letter, signed by the dean of the Emory School of Medicine, states: "I am writing this letter to inform you that the physician who is the daughter of a senior Iranian government official is no longer an employee of Emory."

"Fatemeh Ardshir Larijani" was working at the Emory University Cancer Research Institute in Atlanta and, according to reports, introduced herself as Fatemeh Ardshir in her workplace.

Previously, dozens of Iranian-American citizens protested outside Emory University in Atlanta against the employment of Ali Larijani's daughter, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, at the university. Additionally, Buddy Carter, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, had written a letter to the university and the Georgia medical board requesting the revocation of Fatemeh Ardshir Larijani's medical license, the daughter of the Secretary of the National Security Council of the Islamic Republic.
