The editorial board of Iran International stated in a statement, citing new evidence and accounts, that the scale of violence by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic during the national revolution has exceeded initial estimates, with more than 36,500 people killed in this targeted crackdown on the orders of Ali Khamenei, the dictator of Tehran.
Information received by Iran International provides a clearer pattern of how the repression occurred, the geographical scope of the conflicts, and the behavior of security forces, revealing extrajudicial executions, shooting of the wounded, and direct intervention by security forces in medical facilities.
The totality of these findings indicates that what has occurred during the national revolution in Iran is a widespread and premeditated crime that requires documentation, recording, and international follow-up.

شورای سردبیری ایراناینترنشنال در بیانیهای با استناد به مدارک و روایتهای تازه اعلام کرد ابعاد خشونت نیروهای سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی در جریان انقلاب ملی فراتر از برآوردهای اولیه بوده و بیش از ۳۶ هزار و ۵۰۰ نفر در این سرکوب هدفمند به دستور علی خامنهای، دیکتاتور تهران، کشته شدهاند.
اطلاعات رسیده به ایراناینترنشنال الگوی روشنتری از نحوه سرکوب، گستره جغرافیایی درگیریها و رفتار نیروهای امنیتی ارائه میدهد و از اعدامهای بدون محاکمه، شلیک تیر خلاص به مجروحان و مداخله مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی در مراکز درمانی پرده برمیدارد.
