The release of this segment of the program sparked a lot of criticism on social media, and even users close to the government criticized it.
The Islamic Republic's state media, IRIB, stated that Sadegh Yazdani, the director of the Ofogh network, was dismissed due to "offensive" remarks about the victims of the events in December.

The public relations department of IRIB said that Sadegh Yazdani was dismissed following the airing of a program from the Ofogh network with content "offensive to the martyrs and victims of the December incidents" and "negligence in managing the content of the Khat-Khati program," and the broadcast of this program has also been halted.

At the same time, it has been reported that Saeed Maghiseh has been appointed as the caretaker of this network by Mohsen Boromahani, the deputy of the television.

انتشار این بخش از برنامه انتقادات زیادی را در شبکه‌های اجتماعی به همراه داشت و حتی کاربران نزدیک به حکومت نیز به آن انتقاد کرده بودند.
صداوسیما جمهوری اسلامی می‌گوید که صادق یزدانی، مدیر شبکه افق، به دلیل اظهارات «موهن» در مورد کشته‌‌شدگان دی‌ماه برکنار شد.

روابط عمومی صداوسیما گفت که صادق یزدانی در پی پخش برنامه‌ای از شبکه افق با محتوای «موهن نسبت به شهدا و جان‌باختگان حوادث دی‌ماه» و «بی‌توجهی در مدیریت محتوای برنامه خط‌خطی» عزل و پخش این برنامه نیز متوقف شد.

همزمان گزارش شده است که سعید مقیسه با حکم محسن برمهانی، معاون سیما، سرپرست این شبکه شده است.
