Trump in response to Khamenei: It's natural for him to say such things

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, reacted to Ali Khamenei's remarks that a U.S. attack could lead to the start of a regional war, stating meaningfully that such comments are "to be expected."
Trump directly referenced the U.S. military presence in the region, emphasizing that "the largest and most powerful ships in the world" are stationed near Iran.
The U.S. President also expressed hope that the path of diplomacy would lead to an agreement, but said, "If we don't reach an agreement, then we will find out whether he was right or not."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهوری ایالات متحده، در واکنش به سخنان علی خامنه‌ای مبنی بر اینکه حمله آمریکا می‌تواند به آغاز یک جنگ منطقه‌ای منجر شود، با لحنی معنادار گفت که چنین اظهاراتی «قابل انتظار» است.
