Barak Ravid, a reporter for Axios, quoted Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, before leaving Washington, stating that he told Trump that any agreement with the Islamic Republic should not be limited to the nuclear issue and must also include its ballistic missiles and proxy forces in the region.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, after meeting with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, regarding Iran, said: "Despite our doubts about the likelihood of reaching an agreement with Iran, I made it clear to President Trump that this agreement must include issues that are important to us."
Netanyahu added: "President Trump believes that the Iranians now know who they are dealing with. He thinks the conditions he is creating can facilitate reaching a good agreement, especially with the reality that they certainly know they made a mistake the last time they did not reach an agreement."

باراک راوید خبرنگار آکسیوس به نقل از بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل پیش از ترک واشنگتن نوشت که او به ترامپ گفته است هرگونه توافقی با جمهوری اسلامی نباید محدود به مسئله هسته‌ای باشد و باید موشک‌های بالستیک و نیروهای نیابتی آن در منطقه را نیز شامل شود.
بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل پس از دیدار با دونالد ترامپ رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا درباره ایران گفت: با وجود تردیدهایم در مورد احتمال دستیابی به توافق با ایران، برای رئیس‌جمهور ترامپ روشن کردم که این توافق باید شامل مسائلی باشد که برای ما مهم هستند.
نتانیاهو اضافه کرد: رئیس جمهور ترامپ معتقد است که ایرانی‌ها دیگر می‌دانند با چه کسی طرف هستند. او فکر می‌کند شرایطی که ایجاد می‌کند، می‌تواند شرایط را برای دستیابی به یک توافق خوب فراهم کند، خصوصا همراه با این واقعیت که آنها مطمئنا می‌دانند دفعه قبل که به توافق نرسیدند، اشتباه کردند.
علی لاریجانی، دبیر شورای عالی امنیت ملی جمهوری اسلامی روز چهارشنبه در مصاحبه‌ای اختصاصی با شبکه الجزیره اسرائیل را به تلاش برای خرابکاری در مذاکرات با ایالات متحده متهم کرد تا بتواند جنگ جدیدی را در منطقه شعله‌ور کند.
