🔸Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Friday in a speech to U.S. military forces said that reaching an agreement with Iran in nuclear negotiations is "difficult" and noted that instilling fear in Iranian officials may be necessary to resolve this deadlock peacefully. In this speech at the U.S. Army base in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he referred to the increased presence of the U.S. military fleet in the Middle East, saying: "Reaching an agreement with them (Iran) has been difficult... sometimes you have to create fear. That is the only thing that will really resolve the situation." Mr. Trump also referred to U.S. airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in July of this year and said that a large U.S. aircraft carrier has been stationed in the region for this purpose, ready to act if negotiations fail. The U.S. President earlier mentioned that the reason for the movement of the second U.S. aircraft carrier towards the Middle East was the "potential need" of the United States for it if an agreement with Iran is not reached. He added: "But if an agreement is reached, that carrier will leave the region very soon." Trump added: "Right now, we have one aircraft carrier in the Middle East that has just arrived. If we need it, this carrier is ready as a very large force."

او در یک کنفرانس خبری اعلام کرد برای دوران پس از سقوط حکومت جمهوری اسلامی، به دنبال تاج و تخت نیست و تأکید کرد که برنامه‌ای روشن برای گذار به دموکراسی دارد که بر چهار اصل تمامیت ارضی ایران، آزادی‌های فردی، برابری شهروندان و جدایی دین از حکومت استوار است.
به گفتهٔ او، تیمش برای ۱۰۰ روز نخست پس از فروپاشی حکومت برنامه‌ریزی کرده تا ثبات و خدمات عمومی حفظ شود و روند تدوین قانون اساسی زیر نظر بین‌المللی برگزار شود.
او تأکید کرد ایران آزاد و دموکراتیک می‌تواند در صلح با همسایگان زندگی کند و به موتور رشد اقتصادی منطقه تبدیل شود.
او همچنین در سخنرانی خود پیش از نشست مطبوعاتی با خبرنگاران از تمام کشورهای اروپایی خواست که خود را برای حمایت از «ایران دموکراتیک» آماده کنند.

او بلافاصله افزود: «نه به این دلیل که با آیت‌الله موافق است، بلکه چون معتقد است این‌گونه می‌توان مسائل جهان را حل کرد.»

🔸دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور ایالات متحده، روز جمعه در یک سخنرانی خطاب به نیروهای نظامی آمریکا گفت که توافق با ایران در مذاکرات هسته‌ای «دشوار» است و اشاره کرد که القای ترس در مقام‌های ایرانی ممکن است برای حل این بن‌بست به‌صورت مسالمت‌آمیز ضروری باشد.
او در این سخنرانی در پایگاه ارتش آمریکا در فورت براگ در ایالت کارولینای شمالی، با اشاره به افزایش حضور ناوگان نظامی آمریکا در خاورمیانه گفت: «رسیدن به توافق با آنها (ایران) دشوار بوده است… گاهی باید ترس ایجاد کرد. این تنها چیزی است که واقعاً وضعیت را حل خواهد کرد.»
آقای ترامپ همچنین به حملات هوایی آمریکا به تأسیسات هسته‌ای ایران در تیر ماه امسال اشاره کرد و گفت ناو هواپیمابر بزرگ آمریکا برای این منظور در منطقه مستقر شده تا در صورت شکست مذاکرات، آماده اقدام باشد.
رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا ساعتی پیش‌تر، علت حرکت دومین ناو هواپیمابر آمریکا به سوی خاورمیانه، را «نیاز احتمالی» ایالات متحده به آن در صورت نرسیدن به توافق با ایران ذکر کرد.
او افزود: «اما اگر توافق حاصل شود، آن ناو خیلی زود منطقه را ترک می‌کند.»
ترامپ اضافه کرد: «در حال حاضر یک ناو هواپیمابر در خاورمیانه داریم که تازه رسیده است. اگر نیاز داشته باشیم، این ناو به عنوان یک نیروی بسیار بزرگ آماده است.»

🔸گروه ویژه اقدام مالی (اف‌ای‌تی‌اف) در جریان نشست عمومی خود اقدامات جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای مقابله با پولشویی و مبارزه با تامین مالی تروریسم را کافی ندانست و این کشور را همچنان در «فهرست سیاه» خود باقی نگه داشت.
به غیر از جمهوری اسلامی ایران، کره شمالی و میانمار هم در این فهرست قرار دارند.
