Inayat Bakhshi, a veteran actor of Iranian cinema, theater, and television, passed away at the age of 80 after a period of illness and hospitalization.

This actor, with a rich career collaborating with directors such as Ebrahim Golestan, Bahram Beyzai, Ali Hatami, Amir Naderi, Masoud Kimiai, Dariush Mehrjui, and Davood Mirbagheri, entered the world of cinema by starring in the film "Mr. Halo" (1970) directed by Dariush Mehrjui.

Among his cinematic works are "Setareh Khan" (1972), "Tangna" (1973), "Tangseir" (1973), "Maslakh" (1973), "Gavaznha" (1974), "Senator" (1984), "Shikar" (1987), "Mosafaran" (1991), "Rooz Vagh'e" (1994), "Mosafir Rey" (2000), and "Sag Kashi" (2000).

Mr. Bakhshi also acted in television series such as "Mard Aval" (1976), "Sarbazaran" (1983), "Saye Hamseye" (1986), "Imam Ali" (1996), "Pahlevanan Nemimirand" (1997), "Velayat Eshq" (2000), and "Reyhaneh" (2005).
