Trump's Deadline; It Will Be Determined in 10 Days Whether a Deal Will Be Reached with Iran

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Thursday, February 18, that the U.S. must reach a meaningful agreement with Iran and announced that it will be clear in the next 10 days what decision will be made regarding Iran.

Mr. Trump stated at the first meeting of the "Gaza Peace Board": "Over the years, it has been proven that reaching a meaningful agreement with Iran is not easy. We must reach a meaningful agreement; otherwise, bad things will happen."

He warned that if an agreement is not reached, Washington "may have to take a step further" and added: "You will probably find out in the next 10 days."

The U.S. President referred to the peace process in Gaza and the Middle East, saying it is time for Iran to join this path and added: "If they join us, that would be great. If they don't, that's still great, but that path is completely different."

He emphasized that the Islamic Republic cannot continue to "threaten the stability of the entire region."

The U.S. President also reiterated his demand regarding Iran: "It's very simple; they should not have nuclear weapons. If they have nuclear weapons, peace cannot be achieved in the Middle East."
