On Thursday, February 30, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, welcomed members of the "Peace Council" in Washington during its first meeting, stating: "I believe this is the most important board in the world, and nothing like it has ever existed before."
Trump, who chairs this council, indirectly referred to the war with Iran in his opening speech, saying: "We have resolved 8 wars, but I think one is ahead."
The President of the United States added: "I thought this would be the easiest war, but with war, you never know what is easy and what is not so easy."
He continued: "What we are doing is very simple; peace is all about a word that can be easily said, but the word used to create peace is hard."

Donald Trump said: "We may have to take a step further, or maybe not. You will probably find out in the next ten days."
Referring to the threats from the Islamic Republic, he stated: "You couldn't have peace in the Middle East, so now we may have to take a step further or maybe not."
He mentioned the negotiations between U.S. representatives and the Islamic Republic, adding: "We may reach an agreement that you will be part of; you will probably find out in the next 10 days."
The President of the United States emphasized that the "Peace Council" meeting proves that with determined leadership, nothing is impossible.

Donald Trump, referring to the negotiations between Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, members of this council, with the Islamic Republic, said: "We need to have a meaningful agreement; otherwise, bad things will happen."
Trump added: "They have had very good meetings, and as you know, Iran is currently a significant point, and they are meeting."
The President of the United States stressed that over the years it has been proven that reaching a "meaningful" agreement with Iran is not easy, but we need to have a meaningful agreement.

دونالد ترامپ رئیس جمهوری آمریکا روز پنجشنبه ۳۰ بهمن در نخستین نشست «شورای صلح»‌ در واشنگتن ضمن خوشامدگویی به اعضای این شورا گفت: «من معتقدم که این مهمترین هیئت مدیره در دنیا است و تاکنون چیزی شبیه به آن وجود نداشته است.»
ترامپ که ریاست این شورا را به عهده دارد، در سخنرانی آغازین آن به صورت غیرمستقیم به جنگ با ایران اشاره کرد و گفت: ۸ جنگ را حل و فصل کردیم اما فکر می‌کنم یکی در پیش است.
رئیس جمهوری آمریکا اضافه کرد: فکر می‌کردم این آسان‌ترین جنگ باشد، اما با جنگ، هرگز نمی‌دانید چه چیزی آسان است و چه چیزی چندان آسان نیست.
او در ادامه گفت: «کاری که ما انجام می‌دهیم بسیار ساده است؛ صلح و همه چیز در مورد کلمه‌ای است که به راحتی می‌توان گفت، اما کلمه‌ای که برای ایجاد صلح استفاده می‌شود، سخت است.»

رئیس جمهوری آمریکا در عین حال تاکید کرد که جلسه «شورای صلح» ثابت می‌کند که با رهبری مصمم، هیچ چیز غیرممکن نیست.

ترامپ اضافه کرد: آنها جلسات بسیار خوبی داشته‌اند و همانطور که می‌دانید، ایران در حال حاضر یک نقطه مهم است و آنها در حال ملاقات هستند.
