Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in a speech about Iran that the Iranian government would be better off reaching a fair agreement with the U.S. He added that the people of Iran are very different from the leaders of the country and described this situation as "very, very, very sad."
Trump also announced that 32,000 people have been killed in Iran in a relatively short period of time.
The U.S. President, referring to the recent widespread executions, said: "Two weeks ago, 800 people were supposed to be executed. The executions were to be carried out by crane; they would be lifted high by a crane and spun around in the square. 837 people were supposed to be executed. I sent them a message that if you execute even one person, you will be targeted at that moment, and they refrained from the executions. Apparently, no one was executed."
In conclusion, Trump emphasized: "I really feel sorry for the people of Iran. They seem to have been living in hell."
