Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Saturday that he is increasing global tariffs on imported goods to the United States from 10% to 15%, and this decision will take effect "immediately"; an action that came just one day after the Supreme Court struck down a significant portion of his extensive tariffs.

Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social that after a thorough review of what he called the "extraordinarily anti-American" court decision on Friday to limit his tariff program, his administration will raise import duties "to the full legally permissible and tested level of 15%."

He wrote: "As President of the United States, I am now raising the global tariff of 10% on countries, many of which have looted America for decades, to the full legally permissible and tested level of 15% without any retaliation until I came."

دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، روز شنبه اعلام کرد تعرفه‌های جهانی بر کالاهای ورودی به ایالات متحده را از ۱۰ درصد به ۱۵ درصد افزایش می‌دهد و این تصمیم «از همین حالا» اجرا می‌شود؛ اقدامی که یک روز پس از آن صورت گرفت که دیوان عالی آمریکا بخش عمده‌ای از تعرفه‌های گسترده او را لغو کرد.

ترامپ در شبکه اجتماعی تروت سوشال نوشت پس از بررسی کامل آنچه «تصمیم فوق‌العاده ضدآمریکایی» دادگاه در روز جمعه برای محدود کردن برنامه تعرفه‌ای او خواند، دولتش عوارض وارداتی را «به سطح کامل مجاز و از نظر قانونی آزموده‌شده ۱۵ درصد» افزایش می‌دهد.

او نوشت: «من، به‌عنوان رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، از همین حالا تعرفه جهانی ۱۰ درصدی بر کشورها را که بسیاری از آن‌ها دهه‌ها آمریکا را غارت کرده‌اند، بدون هیچ تلافی‌ای تا زمانی که من آمدم، به سطح کامل مجاز و از نظر قانونی آزموده‌شده ۱۵ درصد افزایش می‌دهم.»
