Ismail Baqaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, emphasized on Thursday afternoon in Geneva that the topic of negotiations with the United States is solely nuclear.
Baqaei told the Islamic Republic's state broadcaster: "The subject of the negotiation is only nuclear, and its outcome is clear."
He also added that any agreement must include the lifting of sanctions.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry also announced the introduction of new proposals, stating: "Initiatives have been raised that need to be consulted with the capitals, and a better summary can be achieved at the end of the negotiations."

اسماعیل بقایی، سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی عصر روز پنجشنبه در ژنو تاکید کرد که موضوع مذاکرات با آمریکا فقط هسته‌ای است.
بقایی به خبرنگار صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی گفت: «موضوع مذاکره فقط هسته‌ای است و تکلیف آن روشن است.»
او در عین حال اضافه کرد که هر توافقی باید شامل رفع تحریم‌ها باشد.
سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی همچنین از مطرح شدن پیشنهادهای جدیدی خبر داد و گفت: ابتکاراتی مطرح شده که  باید با پایتخت‌ها مشورت کرد و در پایان مذاکرات می‌توان جمع‌بندی بهتری داشت.
