Shortly before this news, the government of the United Arab Emirates announced that following what Abu Dhabi described as "Iran's blatant and aggressive missile attacks on UAE territory," it has closed its embassy in Tehran and recalled its ambassador and all members of its diplomatic mission from Iran.
