The United Arab Emirates announced that in response to the missile attacks by the Islamic Republic on its territory, it has closed its embassy in Tehran and recalled its ambassador along with all members of its diplomatic mission.

In a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was mentioned that these attacks, which targeted civilian locations including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, have put civilians at risk and represent a serious and irresponsible escalation. The statement emphasized that this action constitutes a clear violation of national sovereignty and a blatant infringement of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this decision reflects the country's firm stance against any actions that threaten its security and sovereignty. The statement further noted that the continuation of hostile and provocative behaviors undermines efforts to reduce tensions and pushes the region towards a very dangerous path that threatens regional and international peace and stability, energy security, and the stability of the global economy.
