He stated that the military operations are progressing "very powerfully," asserting that the U.S. has the strongest army in the world and is utilizing it. Regarding the potential duration of the war, he expected the conflict to last about four weeks, and according to him, the operation's progress is "ahead of schedule."

The U.S. President also referred to the Islamic Republic's attacks on some Arab countries in the region, including Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, as the "biggest surprise," noting that these countries were not supposed to be widely involved. In another part of his remarks, Trump mentioned the internal situation in Iran, stating that the U.S. is taking actions beyond military attacks, but at the same time warned that the security situation "will become less secure" and urged people to stay at home.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, announced that one of the goals of Operation "Lion's Roar" is to create conditions for the people of Iran to be able to "lift the burden of tyranny" from their shoulders. He added, "The day they can do this is near. When I say we, I mean us and our strong friend America and my very strong friend, President Trump." Netanyahu emphasized, "That day is near, and when it comes, Israel and America will stand by the Iranian people, and it is important that the Iranian people stand by us as well. It depends on them. دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور ایالات متحده، در گفت‌وگویی تلفنی با شبکه سی‌ان‌ان اعلام کرد ارتش آمریکا «به‌شدت در حال ضربه زدن به ایران» است، اما تأکید کرد «موج اصلی حملات» هنوز آغاز نشده و به‌زودی اجرا خواهد شد.
او با بیان اینکه عملیات نظامی «بسیار قدرتمند» پیش می‌رود، گفت آمریکا قدرتمندترین ارتش جهان را در اختیار دارد و از آن استفاده می‌کند. ترامپ درباره مدت احتمالی جنگ گفت انتظار داشته درگیری حدود چهار هفته طول بکشد و به گفته او، روند عملیات «جلوتر از برنامه» است.
رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا همچنین از حملات جمهوری اسلامی به برخی کشورهای عربی منطقه از جمله بحرین، اردن، کویت، قطر و امارات متحده عربی به‌عنوان «بزرگ‌ترین شگفتی» یاد کرد و گفت این کشورها قرار نبود به‌طور گسترده درگیر شوند.
ترامپ در بخش دیگری از سخنانش با اشاره به وضعیت داخلی ایران گفت آمریکا در حال انجام اقداماتی فراتر از حملات نظامی است، اما در عین حال هشدار داد شرایط امنیتی «ناامن‌تر خواهد شد» و از مردم خواست در خانه بمانند.

بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل، اعلام کرد یکی از هدف‌های عملیات «غرش شیران»، ایجاد شرایطی است که مردم ایران بتواند «بار استبداد» را از دوش خود بردارد.

نتانیاهو تاکید کرد: «آن روز نزدیک است، و هنگامی که فرا برسد، اسرائیل و آمریکا در کنار ملت ایران خواهند بود و مهم است که ملت ایران نیز در کنار ما باشد. این به آن‌ها بستگی دارد. ما آنجا خواهیم بود.»

ترامپ این اقدام را «آخرین و بهترین فرصت» برای از میان برداشتن تهدیدهای غیرقابل تحمل دانست.
او افزود: «اهداف ما روشن است. نخست، در حال نابود کردن توان موشکی ایران هستیم و این روند به‌صورت ساعتی ادامه دارد و همچنین ظرفیت تولید موشک‌های جدید آن‌ها را از بین می‌بریم. دوم، در حال نابود کردن نیروی دریایی آن‌ها هستیم و تاکنون ۱۰ کشتی را منهدم کرده‌ایم که اکنون در کف دریا قرار دارند.»
