The commander of the U.S. Central Command says that the U.S. has sunk more than 30 Iranian ships.

Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of the U.S. Central Command, said on Thursday evening that in the past 72 hours, U.S. forces have targeted nearly 200 objectives in Iran.

He stated that the U.S. has sunk more than 30 Iranian ships so far.

Mr. Cooper added, "Just in the past few hours, we targeted a ship carrying Iranian drones that is nearly the size of a World War II aircraft carrier. This ship is currently burning."

This U.S. Navy commander did not specify the name of the ship that he claimed is burning.

He mentioned that if we look at just the past 24 hours of this operation and compare it to the beginning of the operation, ballistic missile attacks have decreased by 90% since day one.

He also noted that drone attacks have decreased by 83% from day one to now.

فرمانده ستاد فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا می گوید آمریکا بیش از ۳۰ کشتی ایرانی را غرق کرده است.

دریاسالار برد کوپر، فرمانده ستاد فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا، عصر پنجشنبه گفت: در ۷۲ ساعت گذشته نیروهای آمریکا نزدیک به ۲۰۰ هدف را در ایران هدف قرار داده‌اند.

او گفت آمریکا تا این لحظه بیش از ۳۰ کشتی ایرانی را غرق کرده است.

آقای کوپر افزود: «تنها در چند ساعت گذشته، ما یک کشتی حامل پهپاد ایرانی را که تقریبا به اندازه یک ناو هواپیمابر دوران جنگ جهانی دوم است هدف قرار دادیم. در حال حاضر نیز این کشتی در آتش می‌سوزد.»

این فرمانده نیروی دریایی آمریکا به نام ناوی که مدعی شد در حال سوختن در آتش است اشاره نکرد.

او گفت اگر فقط به ۲۴ ساعت گذشته این عملیات نگاه کنیم و آن را با آغاز عملیات مقایسه کنیم، حملات موشک‌های بالستیک نسبت به روز اول ۹۰ درصد کاهش یافته است.

او افزود حملات پهپادی نیز از روز اول تا کنون ۸۳ درصد کاهش داشته است.
