♦️Majid Takht-Ravanchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, said in an interview with France 24 on Friday, March 5, that Tehran had previously warned European countries and other parties not to get involved in what it called "aggression against Iran." He emphasized: "If any country joins the United States and Israel in this aggression, it will become a legitimate target for the Islamic Republic's response."
In this interview, Takht-Ravanchi also claimed that Islamic Republic officials had participated in negotiations with the United States "in good faith," and that the last round of talks in Geneva on Thursday had been "successful." However, he stated that the U.S. government, "with the help of Israel," began an attack against the Islamic Republic on Saturday. He also confirmed that Iran is targeting Kurdish groups within Iraqi territory. In response to reports about U.S. and Israeli intelligence support for these groups, he said: "If it is necessary to protect our sovereignty, we will definitely do it."

♦️مجید تخت روانچی، معاون وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی، روز جمعه، ۱۵ اسفند در گفتگویی با شبکه «فرانس۲۴» گفت تهران پیش‌تر به کشورهای اروپایی و سایر طرف‌ها هشدار داده است که در جنگی که آن را «تجاوز علیه ایران» خواند، وارد نشوند. او تاکید کرد: «اگر هر کشوری به آمریکا و اسرائیل در این تجاوز بپیوندد، به هدفی مشروع برای پاسخ جمهوری اسلامی تبدیل خواهد شد.»
تخت‌روانچی در این گفتگو همچنین مدعی شد مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی در مذاکرات با ایالات متحده «با حسن نیت» شرکت کرده بودند و آخرین دور گفتگوها در ژنو در روز پنجشنبه «موفقیت‌آمیز» بوده است، اما به گفته او دولت آمریکا «با کمک اسرائیل» روز شنبه حمله علیه جمهوری اسلامی را آغاز کرد. او همچنین تایید کرد که ایران در حال هدف قرار دادن گروه‌های کرد در داخل خاک عراق است. تخت‌روانچی در واکنش به گزارش‌هایی درباره حمایت اطلاعاتی آمریکا و اسرائیل از این گروه‌ها گفت: «اگر برای حفاظت از حاکمیت خود نیاز باشد، قطعا این کار را انجام می‌دهیم.»
