The Iranian drone carrier "Shahid Baqeri" targeted in the Persian Gulf

Published videos show that the Iranian drone carrier was targeted during a U.S. military operation in the Persian Gulf and is currently on fire. This vessel was one of the large and significant ships of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, capable of carrying drones, helicopters, and combat vessels.

CENTCOM announced in a video of the moment the drone carrier was targeted that this ship was hit as part of extensive attacks against the naval forces of the Islamic Republic, alongside other Iranian military vessels that were damaged or sunk.

هدف قرار گرفتن ناو «شهید باقری» در خلیج فارس

ویدئوهای منتشرشده نشان می‌دهد ناو پهپادبر ایرانی در جریان عملیات نظامی آمریکا در خلیج فارسمورد هدف قرار گرفته و در حال سوختن است. این شناور، از شناورهای بزرگ و مهم نیروی دریایی سپاه پاسداران بود که امکان حمل پهپاد، هلیکوپتر و شناورهای رزمی را داشت.

سنتکام با انتشار ویدیویی از لحظه هدف قرار گرفتن این ناو پهپادبر اعلام کرد این ناو در چارچوب حملات گسترده علیه نیروی دریایی جمهوری اسلامی هدف قرار گرفته و در کنار دیگر شناورهای نظامی ایران آسیب دیده یا غرق شده است.
