Despite Masoud Pezeshkian stating on Saturday that attacks on Gulf countries would cease, reports of new explosions in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi emerged on Saturday evening.

According to witnesses, a series of loud explosions were heard in Bahrain. It is still unclear whether these explosions were caused by missile strikes or their interception by air defense systems.

The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates also announced that the sounds heard were due to the interception of Iranian missiles and drones.

با وجود آنکه مسعود پزشکیان روز شنبه گفت حملات به کشورهای خلیج فارس متوقف خواهد شد، شامگاه شنبه گزارش‌هایی از انفجارهای تازه در بحرین و ابوظبی منتشر شد.

به گفته شاهدان، مجموعه‌ای از انفجارهای شدید در بحرین شنیده شده است. هنوز مشخص نیست این انفجارها ناشی از اصابت موشک‌ها بوده یا رهگیری آن‌ها توسط سامانه‌های پدافند هوایی.

وزارت دفاع امارات متحده عربی نیز اعلام کرد صداهای شنیده‌شده ناشی از رهگیری موشک‌ها و پهپادهای ایرانی بوده است.
