Donald Trump says the Kurds should not get involved in the U.S. and Israel's war with Iran. He was answering reporters' questions on Air Force One, the presidential plane. A BBC reporter asked if some Iranians are worried that the Kurds might want to create some sort of autonomous region, as they did in Syria and Iraq. Mr. Trump said that the U.S. is not looking for the Kurds to enter Iran: "As you know, we have a very friendly relationship with the Kurds, but we don't want to complicate the war more than it is. ... I don't want the Kurds to get involved in the war. I don't want to see the Kurds injured or killed. We have had a good relationship with them. They want to get involved themselves, but I really told them that I don't want them to get involved." Our reporter asked him if he thinks that when all this is over, Iran's map will remain as it is, and Mr. Trump said: "I can't tell you, probably not."

دونالد ترامپ می‌گوید کردها نباید وارد جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل با ایران بشوند. او در ایرفورس وان، هواپیمای ریاست‌جمهوری، به سوال‌های خبرنگاران جواب می‌داد.
خبرنگار بی‌بی‌سی پرسید که بعضی از ایرانی‌ها نگرانند که کردها بخواهند نوعی منطقه خودمختار ایجاد کنند، همان‌طور که در سوریه و عراق چنین کردند. آقای ترامپ گفت که آمریکا به دنبال این نیست که کردها وارد ایران شوند:
«همان‌طور که می‌دانید ما ارتباط بسیار دوستانه‌ای با کردها داریم، اما نمی‌خواهیم جنگ را پیچیده‌تر از آنچه هست بکنیم. ... من نمی‌خواهم کردها وارد جنگ شوند. نمی‌خواهم ببینم کردها زخمی یا کشته شوند. ما رابطه خوبی با آن‌ها داشته‌ایم. آن‌ها خودشان می‌خواهند وارد شوند، اما من واقعا به آن‌ها گفتم که نمی‌خواهم وارد شوند.»
خبرنگار ما از او پرسید که فکر می‌کنید وقتی همه این‌ها تمام شود، نقشه ایران همان‌طور که هست باقی بماند و آقای ترامپ گفت: «نمی‌توانم به شما بگویم، احتمالا نه.»

بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل، در پیام ویدیویی خطاب به مردم ایران گفت اسرائیل قصد تجزیه ایران را ندارد و هدف آن «آزاد کردن ایران از زیر بار استبداد» و زندگی در صلح با این کشور است. او تاکید کرد که لحظه حقیقت نزدیک است و سرنوشت رهایی به مردم ایران بستگی دارد.

نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل با اشاره به نقش مردم ایران در تحولات پیش رو گفت: «اما در نهایت، رهایی از استبداد به شما، مردم شجاع و مصمم ایران، بستگی دارد.»
