Presence of Islamic Republic Officials at Quds Day Rally Among Bodyguards

On Friday, March 13, images and videos of the presence of some senior figures of the Islamic Republic at the government-organized Quds Day rally in Tehran were published in domestic media and social networks. Among those seen at the rally were Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Head of the Judiciary, Masoud Pezeshkian, President, Ahmadreza Radan, Commander of the Law Enforcement Force, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Abolqasem Salavati, Head of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.

According to the published images, these officials moved through the crowd accompanied by bodyguards. These individuals, who had rarely appeared in public places in recent days, used the presence of government supporters in the streets as a human shield and participated in the rally.

Meanwhile, some social media users pointed out that despite Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, inviting people to the streets, no image of his presence at the event has been published, suggesting that he may not have attended the rally.
