The U.S. Department of State announced on Friday that it is offering a reward of $10 million for information about Mojtaba Khamenei, the new leader of the Islamic Republic, and several other senior Iranian officials.

Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Eskandar Momeni, Minister of Interior, Esmail Qatabi, Minister of Intelligence, and Yahya Rahim Safavi, military advisor to the leader of the Islamic Republic, are also included in the list published by the State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program.

This program offers cash rewards in exchange for information, including locating individuals or assisting in the prosecution of those who commit terrorist acts against the United States.

The U.S. Department of State stated in a press release: "These individuals command and lead various sections of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps; an entity that plans, organizes, and executes terrorist actions worldwide."

This comes as several senior officials of the Islamic Republic, including Ali Larijani, participated in the "Quds Day" rally in Tehran on Friday.

وزارت امور خارجه ایالات متحده آمریکا روز جمعه اعلام کرد که برای ارائه اطلاعات دربارهٔ مجتبی خامنه‌ای، رهبر جدید جمهوری اسلامی، و چند مقام ارشد دیگر ایرانی جایزه‌ای ۱۰ میلیون دلاری در نظر گرفته است.

علی لاریجانی، دبیر شورای عالی امنیت ملی، اسکندر مومنی، وزیر کشور، اسماعیل خطیب، وزیر اطلاعات، و یحیی رحیم صفوی، مشاور نظامی رهبر جمهوری اسلامی نیز در فهرستی قرار دارند که توسط برنامه «پاداش برای عدالت» وزارت خارجه آمریکا منتشر شده است.

این برنامه در ازای ارائه اطلاعاتی از جمله یافتن محل افراد یا کمک به محاکمه کسانی که علیه ایالات متحده آمریکا اقدام تروریستی انجام می‌دهند، پاداش نقدی پرداخت می‌کند.

وزارت امور خارجه ایالات متحده آمریکا در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد: «این افراد فرماندهی و هدایت بخش‌های مختلف سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی را بر عهده دارند؛ نهادی که در سراسر جهان برنامه‌ریزی، سازماندهی و اجرای اقدامات تروریستی را انجام می‌دهد.»

این در حالی است که شماری از مقام‌های ارشد جمهوری اسلامی ازجمله علی لاریجانی روز جمعه در راهپیمایی «روز قدس» در تهران شرکت کردند.
