The report cited "field sources" stating that "the sound of more than 15 explosions was heard on the island during the attacks."
Fars News Agency further stated: "The enemy attempted to damage the army's defenses, the Joushan naval base, the airport control tower, and the offshore helicopter hangar during these attacks."
According to this source, "none of the oil infrastructure was harmed in these attacks."

Hours after the U.S. attack on Kharg Island ordered by Trump, Trump's statements from 1988 regarding the attack on Kharg are being reshared on social media.
In these remarks, which were published in U.S. media at the time, Trump stated: "If it were up to me, I would deal with Iran harshly. They have psychologically defeated us and made us look like a bunch of fools. Even if the Islamic Republic fires a single bullet at one of the U.S. forces or ships, I would severely target Kharg Island."
He added: "The Islamic Republic can't even defeat Iraq, yet it pressures the U.S. Confronting them would be good for the world."

خبرگزاری فارس در گزارشی گفته است که در حملات دیشب به جزیره خارگ، زیرساخت‌های نفتی این جزیره آسیبی ندیده است.
در این گزارش به نقل از «منابع میدانی» گفته شده که که در جریان حملات دیشب «صدای بیش از ۱۵ انفجار در جزیره شنیده شده است.»
خبرگزاری فارس در ادامه گزارش خود آورده است: «دشمن تلاش کرد در جریان این حملات به پدافند ارتش، پایگاه دریایی جوشن، برج مراقبت فرودگاه و آشیانه بالگرد فلات قاره آسیب وارد کند.»
به گفته این منبع «هیچ یک از زیرساخت‌های نفتی در این حملات آسیبی ندیده‌اند.»
