Donald Trump, the President of the United States, once again called for the participation of other countries to secure navigation in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday evening.

He wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social: "The United States has defeated and completely destroyed Iran militarily, economically, and in every other way. However, countries that receive oil through the Strait of Hormuz must take responsibility for protecting this passage, and we will provide them with a lot of help." Mr. Trump announced that the United States will coordinate with these countries to ensure that "everything goes quickly, smoothly, and well."

The President of the United States stated a few hours earlier that many countries will send their warships to the region to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, but he did not provide further details. He mentioned China, France, Japan, South Korea, and Britain, expressing hope that these countries would dispatch their fleets to the Middle East for this purpose.

Following the war between the U.S. and Israel with Iran, commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz has been affected by attacks from Iranian military forces, and this vital waterway has effectively been closed.

او در شبکه اجتماعی خود، تروث سوشال، نوشت: «ایالات متحده آمریکا ایران را از نظر نظامی، اقتصادی و در هر زمینه دیگری شکست داده و کاملاً نابود کرده است. اما کشورهایی که از طریق تنگه هرمز نفت دریافت می‌کنند باید مسئولیت حفاظت از این گذرگاه را بر عهده بگیرند، و ما نیز به آن‌ها کمک بسیار زیادی خواهیم کرد.»
آقای ترامپ اعلام کرد که ایالات متحده با این کشورها در هماهنگی خواهد بود تا «همه چیز سریع، روان و به‌خوبی پیش برود».

رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا ساعاتی پیش گفت کشورهای زیادی کشتی‌های جنگی خود را به منطقه خواهند فرستاد تا تنگه هرمز باز بماند، اما به جزئیات بیشتری اشاره نکرد. او از چین، فرانسه، ژاپن، کره جنوبی و بریتانیا نام برد و ابراز امیدواری کرد این کشورها ناوهای خود را به این منظور به خاورمیانه اعزام کنند.

در پی جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل با ایران، روند کشتیرانی تجاری در تنگه هرمز تحت تاثیر حملات نیروهای نظامی ایران قرار گرفته و این آبراه مهم عملا بسته شده است.
