Oil loading from the strategic port of Fujairah in the UAE was halted following drone attacks by the Islamic Republic on Monday.

The Fujairah oil terminal is the only route for UAE oil exports that does not require passage through the Strait of Hormuz, making it very important for both the UAE and global oil markets.

This is the second attack on the Fujairah port in the past three days.

The official Fujairah port page on X network announced a fire at its oil facilities and confirmed the halt in oil loading, stating that the drone attack did not result in any casualties.

In the past two weeks, the Islamic Republic has targeted 16 oil tankers and ships in its southern waters to disrupt oil exports from the Strait of Hormuz, but the attack on UAE oil export facilities in the Sea of Oman indicates the Islamic Republic's determination to disrupt all oil export routes.

Brent crude oil prices in global markets rose again after the confirmation of the attack on Fujairah, reaching over $106 at the time of this report on Monday afternoon.
