These statements come as the initial estimate from the Trump administration regarding the length of the war with the Islamic Republic was about four to five weeks, but Israel has stated that it has not set a time limit for the end of its operations and will continue its attacks until it achieves its set goals.

ترامپ گ افزود واشنگتن به‌دنبال آن است که نتیجه این جنگ «پایدارتر» باشد تا به گفته او، دولت‌های بعدی آمریکا با چنین بحرانی روبه‌رو نشوند و این مسئله برای همیشه حل شود.
این اظهارات در حالی مطرح می‌شود که برآورد اولیه دولت ترامپ از طول جنگ با جمهوری اسلامی حدود چهار تا پنج هفته عنوان شده بود، اما اسرائیل اعلام کرده برای پایان عملیات خود محدودیت زمانی در نظر نگرفته و تا دستیابی به اهداف تعیین‌شده به حملات ادامه خواهد داد.
