🔻Abbas Araghchi says Iran is not seeking a "ceasefire" but welcomes a "permanent end to the war."

He told Al Jazeera in Tehran: "We are not looking for a ceasefire because we do not want this scenario to repeat itself after a while; rather, we are seeking a complete and permanent end to the war."

He also stated that the U.S. entered this war based on "miscalculations" and by "encouraging Israel": "Those who demanded our unconditional surrender are now forced to seek help even from their rivals to reopen the Strait of Hormuz."

Regarding the health status of Mojtaba Khamenei, he said: "As far as I know, there are only superficial injuries concerning the Supreme Leader, and he is in complete health and has the situation under control."

🔻عباس عراقچی می‌گوید ایران به دنبال «آتش‌بس» نیست اما از «پایان دائمی جنگ» استقبال می‌کند.

او به شبکه خبری الجزیره در تهران گفت: «ما به دنبال آتش بس نیستیم چون نمی‌خواهیم این سناریو دوباره بعد از یک مدتی تکرار شود بلکه ما خواهان پایان کامل و دائمی جنگ هستیم.»

او همچنین گفت آمریکا به «تشویق اسرائیل» و بر اساس «محاسبه اشتباه» وارد این جنگ شد: «کسانی که از ما تسلیم بی‌قیدوشرط می‌خواستند الان مجبور شده‌اند حتی از رقبای خودشان برای بازگشایی تنگه هرمز کمک بخواهند.»

او در مورد وضعیت سلامتی مجتبی خامنه‌ای گفت: «تا جایی که من اطلاع دارم در خصوص رهبر معظم انقلاب تنها جراحات سطحی وجود داشته‌ و ایشان در سلامت کامل به سر می‌برند و اوضاع را تحت کنترل دارند.»
