The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement on Wednesday night, March 27, that the military attaché and the security attaché of the Islamic Republic's embassy, along with the staff of these two sections, have been identified as undesirable elements and must leave the country within a maximum of 24 hours.

According to this ministry, this decision was communicated through an official note delivered to the Islamic Republic's embassy and was discussed during a meeting between Ibrahim Youssef Fakhro, the director of the ceremonies department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ali Saleh Abadi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Doha.

The statement emphasized that this action was taken in response to the repeated attacks by the Islamic Republic and what has been described as "blatant aggression" against Qatar; attacks that Doha claims have violated the sovereignty and security of the country and are contrary to international law and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continuation of this trend will face further actions from Doha and emphasized that the country will take measures to protect its sovereignty, security, and national interests.

Qatar also stated that it reserves the right to take any necessary actions to defend its security and sovereignty within the framework of international law.
