Israeli media reported on Thursday, March 28, that following an attack by the Islamic Republic, Haifa refineries were targeted and sustained damage. According to these reports, there were no casualties from this attack.

Update:
Israel's Energy Minister, Eli Cohen, announced that the damage to the country's electricity network in the north was "limited and minor."

He did not confirm the targeting of the Haifa refinery, but these statements come as verified videos following reports of the Iranian attack show thick smoke rising from part of the refinery.

Mr. Cohen added: "Electricity teams are currently on-site and have restored power to most of the customers who were disconnected."

He also stated: "In addition, there has been no significant damage to Israel's infrastructure following the attacks from the north."

الی کوهن، وزیر انرژی اسرائیل اعلام کرد خسارات واردشده به شبکه برق این کشور در شمال «محدود و ناچیز» بوده است.

او هدف قرار گرفتن پالایشگاه حیفا را تایید نکرد، اما این اظهارات در حالی مطرح می‌شود که ویدئوهای تاییدشده پس از گزارش‌های حمله ایران به آن، نشان می‌هد که از بخشی از این پالایشگاه دود غلیظی برخاسته است.

آقای کوهن افزود: «تیم‌های شرکت برق هم‌اکنون در محل حضور دارند و برق بیشتر مشترکانی را که قطع شده بود، دوباره وصل کرده‌اند.»

او همچنین گفت: «علاوه بر این، در پی حملات از سمت شمال، آسیب قابل‌توجهی به زیرساخت‌های اسرائیل وارد نشده است.»
