Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, said on Thursday, March 18, at a press conference that Israel and the United States are changing the equations of the Middle East. He stated that the current military operations in Iran aim to "eliminate the nuclear and missile threat" and create conditions so that, according to him, "the people of Iran can take their destiny into their own hands."
The Israeli Prime Minister mentioned that Israel has targeted the infrastructure and industries related to Iran's military capabilities and that "more work" remains to be done.
He also supported the creation of alternative energy transfer routes outside the Strait of Hormuz and the construction of pipelines through the Arabian Peninsula.
Referring to the lack of transparency regarding the succession of Ali Khamenei, he said he does not know who is actually running Iran, adding that if the Iranian regime falls, Hezbollah will also "cease to exist."
Netanyahu expressed hope that a convergence would occur between "the weakening of the regime and the uprising of the people of Iran." He also responded to a question by stating that Prince Reza Pahlavi is forming a transitional government and welcomed this initiative.

بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخستوزیر اسرائیل، روز پنجشنبه ۲۸ اسفند، در یک کنفرانس خبری گفت اسرائیل و آمریکا در حال تغییر معادلات خاورمیانهاند. او گفت عملیات نظامی فعلی در ایران با هدف «از بین بردن تهدید هستهای و موشکی» و ایجاد شرایطی انجام میشود که به گفته او «مردم ایران بتوانند سرنوشت خود را در دست بگیرند».
نخستوزیر اسرائیل گفت اسرائیل زیرساختها و صنایع مرتبط با توان تسلیحاتی ایران را هدف قرار داده و «کارهای بیشتری» نیز باقی مانده است.
او همچنین از ایجاد مسیرهای جایگزین انتقال انرژی خارج از تنگه هرمز و احداث خطوط لوله از طریق شبهجزیره عربستان حمایت کرد.
او با اشاره به نبود شفافیت درباره جانشینی علی خامنهای گفت نمیداند چه کسی عملاً ایران را اداره میکند، و افزود در صورت سقوط حکومت ایران، حزبالله نیز «از میان خواهد رفت».
نتانیاهو ابراز امیدواری کرد که میان «تضعیف حکومت و قیام مردم ایران» نقطه تلاقی ایجاد شود. او همچنین در پاسخ به سؤالی گفت شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در حال تشکیل دولت انتقالی است و از این اقدام استقبال کرد.
