Ismail Shokri, the father of Sepehr Shokri, one of the victims of the protests in January 2024 in Tehran, was arrested and transferred to an unknown location.

Following the massacre during the protests on January 18 and 19, a video of Sepehr Shokri's father circulated on social media, in which he was searching for his son among the corpses and, with a trembling voice in the forensic morgues of Kahrizak, said: "Sepehr, my dear... where are you?"
This video received widespread attention in Iran and around the world, provoking anger and sorrow among the Iranian people.

A source close to the family confirmed this news to HRANA, stating: "Mr. Shokri's arrest occurred this afternoon in Behesht Zahra, Tehran, at his son’s grave, Sepehr Shokri, one of the victims of January 2024, and was carried out with violence."

اسماعیل شکری، پدر سپهر شکری، از جانباختگان اعتراضات دی ۱۴۰۴ در تهران بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.

به دنبال قتل عام اعتراضات روزهای ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی‌ماه، ویدیویی از پدر سپهر شکری در شبکه‌های اجتماعی پخش شد که در آن وی در میان جنازه‌ها به‌دنبال پسرش می‌گشت و با صدایی لرزان در سردخانه‌های پزشکی قانونی کهریزک می‌گفت: «سپهر بابا… کجایی؟»
این ویدیو بازتاب گسترده‌ای در ایران و جهان یافت و خشم و اندوه مردم ایران را برانگیخت.

یک منبع مطلع نزدیک به خانواده این شهروند با تایید این خبر به هرانا گفت: «بازداشت آقای شکری، بعدازظهر امروز در بهشت زهراي تهران و بر سر مزار فرزندش، سپهر شکری از جانباختگان دی ۱۴۰۴، با اعمال خشونت صورت گرفته است.»
