Media in Iran report the killing of Saeed Shamghadari, a professor at the University of Science and Technology, in the early morning attacks on Monday, March 23, in the Chizhar area of Tehran.

The Mehr News Agency has described him as a "pioneer in the defense industry," and the Governor of Khorasan Razavi, in a condolence message issued regarding this matter, wrote that Shamghadari sacrificed his life for the "localization of the missile industry."

Saeed Shamghadari was the brother of Amirollah Shamghadari, the security deputy of the Khorasan Razavi governorate.

Reports indicate that he was killed during the early morning attack on his residence, along with his two children.

رسانه‌ها در ایران از کشته‌شدن سعید شمقدری، استاد دانشگاه علم و صنعت، در حملات بامداد دوشنبه سوم فروردین به منطقه چیذر تهران خبر می‌دهند.

خبرگزاری مهر او را «پیشگام صنعت دفاعی» معرفی کرده و استاندار خراسان رضوی نیز در پیام تسلیتی که در این زمینه صادر کرده، نوشته که شمقدری جان خود را در راه «بومی‌سازی صنعت موشکی» فدا کرد.

سعید شمقدری، برادر امیرالله شمقدری، معاون امنیتی استاندار خراسان رضوی بود.

رسانه‌ها نوشته‌اند که او در جریان حمله بامداد دوشنبه به منزل مسکونی‌اش، همراه با دو فرزندش کشته شد.
