Donald Trump, in part of his statements today at the White House, expressed a considerable degree of optimism about the success of reaching an agreement with Iran, stating: "Yesterday they did something that was truly amazing. They gave us a gift. And this gift reached us today. It was a very big gift that had a lot of financial value. I don't want to say what that gift was, but it was very important and valuable. They gave it to us and said they would give it. This only meant one thing to me: that we are dealing with the right people."

The U.S. President continued without going into details: "No, it wasn't about the nuclear issue; it was actually related to oil and gas. And it was a very good thing they did. But what made it clear to me was that we are interacting with the right people, because you know, it wasn't clear — since the leadership was gone. Everyone is gone, Ali Khamenei is no longer there.
