Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, announced through a message on the social media platform X about his conversation with Masoud Pezeshkian, stating that he emphasized in this discussion the "absolute necessity of ending unacceptable attacks against countries in the region, preserving energy and civilian infrastructure, and restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz."

Macron added:
"I urged Iran to enter negotiations in good faith to open a path for reducing tensions and to create a framework that allows addressing the expectations of the international community regarding Iran's nuclear and missile programs, as well as its destabilizing regional activities."

In the conclusion of this message, Macron wrote:
"Finally, I asked Iran to issue, as soon as possible, the permission for our compatriots, Cecile Kohler and Jacques Paris, to return to France."

امانوئل مکرون، رئیس‌جمهور فرانسه با انتشار پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی اکس از گفتگوی خود با مسعود پزشکیان خبر داد و نوشت او در این گفت‌و‌گو «بر ضرورت مطلق پایان دادن به حملات غیرقابل‌قبول علیه کشورهای منطقه، حفظ زیرساخت‌های انرژی و غیرنظامی، و بازگرداندن آزادی کشتیرانی در تنگه هرمز» تأکید کرده است.

مکرون افزود:
«از ایران خواستم با حسن نیت وارد مذاکرات شود تا راهی برای کاهش تنش‌ها گشوده شود و چارچوبی فراهم آید که امکان رسیدگی به انتظارات جامعه بین‌المللی درباره برنامه هسته‌ای و موشکی ایران، و همچنین فعالیت‌های بی‌ثبات‌کننده منطقه‌ای آن را فراهم کند.»

مکرون در پایان این پیام نوشت:
«در نهایت، از ایران خواستم در سریع‌ترین زمان ممکن اجازه بازگشت هموطنان‌مان، سسیل کوهلر و ژاک پاریس، به فرانسه را صادر کند.»
