Press TV, the English-language news network of the Islamic Republic's Broadcasting Organization, reported that a senior political-security official of the Iranian government stated that Tehran has rejected the U.S. proposal to end the war, emphasizing that the end of the war will only be based on "Tehran's desired conditions and timeline."

This official announced that the Islamic Republic has set five conditions for ending the war, which include a complete halt to "aggression and killing" by the enemy, the establishment of specific mechanisms to prevent the war from recurring against the Islamic Republic, guaranteed and transparent payment of war damages and compensations, the end of the war on all fronts and for all resistance groups in the region, and the recognition and provision of international guarantees regarding the Islamic Republic's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

پرس‌ تی‌وی، شبکه خبری انگلیسی‌زبان صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی به نقل از یک مقام ارشد سیاسی-امنیتی حکومت ایران گزارش داد که تهران به پیشنهاد آمریکا برای پایان دادن به جنگ پاسخ منفی داده و تاکید کرده است پایان جنگ تنها بر اساس «شروط و جدول زمانی مورد نظر» تهران خواهد بود.

این مقام اعلام کرد جمهوری اسلامی برای پایان جنگ پنج شرط تعیین کرده است که شامل توقف کامل «تجاوز و کشتن» از سوی دشمن، ایجاد سازوکارهای مشخص برای جلوگیری از دوباره جنگ به جمهوری اسلامی، پرداخت تضمین‌شده و شفاف خسارات و غرامت‌های جنگی، پایان جنگ در همه جبهه‌ها و برای همه گروه‌های مقاومت در منطقه و نیز به رسمیت شناختن و ارائه تضمین‌های بین‌المللی درباره حق حاکمیتی جمهوری اسلامی بر تنگه هرمز است.
